Clearly if a defendant is guilty, then as you suggest, among the just things they could do is liquidate their assets as partial compensation for their deeds. On the one hand, this might appear to give the wealthy yet another unfair advantage in the legal system (at least as an option), but on the other hand, I very much doubt super wealthy people could give up their riches, even if it means dying in prison unable to enjoy them. Maybe I'm wrong, but I suspect their wealth becomes - for them - an integral part of their identity.

He should have already been charged for battery based on the hotel video. Even if he solved the civil suit against him, he can still be charged with criminal battery headed on the evidence. The hotel. Too can and should be fined for withholding evidence of a crime

I totally disagree with anyone , even professionals in this field, who suggests there's a better or easier way for this defendant.... That guy will be prosecuted and found guilty and liable. If he was beating one or two accusations, maybe. Can't remember a person been accused by so many since Bernie Madoff. Just the guidelines in one of his cases indicate 300 months behind bars.

@@dr.garyhatcher8364 I believe he can change. Him being incarcerated right now has been the best thing to happen to him as a person in probably 25 years. Because unless his attys (all the kings horses and men) are sneaking drugs into him, his mind is probably the clearest and the least influenced by others, extreme comfort, wealth, etc as it has been in decades, and he might start processing things differently. Also, i don't believe every story out on him. He is bad and he has done a lot of bad things but i'd bet my life that more than half of those civil suits that Buzbee will try to prosecute against Diddy after the criminal is over, are bogus.
