You have to be really careful with the B vitamins because my brother ended up with vitamin B6 TOXICITY and he's really suffering . He has bad NEUROPATHY with stinging and burning throughout his nervous system ; therefore his skin and tongue are also burning and stinging . He has other symptoms ,too . On top of this , every little smell out there drives him crazy ...especially chemical and synthetic smells . But the worst part is that because vitamin B6 is in ALMOST EVERYTHING there is very little he can eat at so he is HUNGRY all the time and has become EMACIATED with bones sticking out of his back and rib cage . The doctor he was seeing who was considered the best specialist in the area for vitamin toxicity was a greedy person who is charging a minimum of four times more for everything . When my brother said something to her about it , her attitude was take it or leave it ; so he told her he won't be back . Some of the other doctors who supposedly handle vitamin toxicity don't seem to know much about the B6 problem and my brother and I are very disappointed . We found out there is a gene mutation of the MTHFR Gene and this can make a person have trouble detoxing and even processing B6 . Then we found out from somebody in a B6 support group that vitamin B2 which is riboflavin , will make you absorb even more B6 then normally . If you live in America and look at the ingredient list on all kinds of breads baked goods and pastas packaged cereals , you will notice they are almost ALWAYS fortified with riboflavin and or B6 in its various forms . And again all those different way powders and protein powders usually have it also . So in America it's very easy for someone to get TOO MUCH B6 and for some people all they have to do is just deal with the detox whereas other people feel like they're in some kind of hell and can take up to five years to totally detox... and some people never totally get rid of the neuropathy and pain .
@gardensofthegods5 жыл бұрын
Also a good way to calm the brain is to take ashwagandha and you could just buy it at your local Indian Grocers where it is much much cheaper ... and you should also take that with shatavari which you can also get it the same place... take them together with a little bit of protein.. they both balance the hormones for men and women alike and the shatavari keeps you young and juicy . Ashwagandha is an adaptogen which will help you deal with stress and sleep better at night but some say it is also nootropic and makes you smarter . But the other thing about ashwagandha that is mind-blowing is scientists think it just might be the only thing on the planet they have discovered so far that helps you grow new brain cells .. far-reaching implications for that . It helps the Mind turn away from negative thinking . Also do haritaki which gives three times more oxygen to the brain and blood... again you can get it at the Indian Grocers and its best and its powdered form.. for best results in the way I do it you're supposed to pick up the powder with your thumb ,index finger and middle finger and put it in your mouth rub it on your gums and teeth and brush it just like brushing your teeth with toothpaste .. but don't spit me out you're supposed to swallow it and I think the reason it works better this way is because it needs to mix with the enzymes in the mouth from the saliva and also when you rinse your mouth with water swallow it don't spit it out . Haritaki has a weird horrible flavor it's sort of like bitter sawdust but after brushing your tongue and teeth with it it will start to have more of a sour and sweet taste that is more tolerable... the people who take it in capsule form are missing the benefit of it as much .. haritaki helps clean out the whole alimentary canal . But it is another powerful brain healer and if someone has had brain trauma as did I , they might have a little bit of headaches from it at first . haritaki is another one that helps the brain does simply cut off the root of negative thinking . Please look into kammarkas which is considered common sage but if you buy it at the Indian grocers that is another one that is brain food.. they also sell brahmi powder which is also brain food and it has both kinds of brahmi. I also love cortas brand orange blossom water because I feel is much more pure than other brands out there . a teaspoon of that in hot water at bedtime will really make you drowsy . rosewater by that same company is a wonderful product and it is even a great skin toner but if you take a few sips of that during the day or evening you will notice that helps keep you chilled out and calm . some India Grocers sell rose petal jelly and I love it.. I swear I think that could help keep a person calm also .

BeausMama. Remember this word……..Frenectomy. A really GOOD dentist will know all about this. Some people have to have a tiny clip done under their Tongue, which should have been done at birth, but wasn’t. Find a dentist who uses laser !!! Less pain/less healing time. Noooooo more migraines ! My daughter and my granddaughter both found a dentist in another state and had it done. My other granddaughter went with them, but did not need it. This was about two years ago, and not a migraine since then. An occasional headache, yes, but NOT a migraine.

@@NanaSevers . We had never heard of it either until my daughter talked to someone who had done it. We are in Atlanta, so Beth had to go to Tennessee to have it done. In looking on the internet it seems that it has become fairly common, but the problem is locating a person to use the laser. One of my grandchildren…..toddler……had it done, and Beth says she never uttered a sound from pain ! So, look state by state until you find a dentist that uses laser. Strangely enough, Beth, her grown daughter, and the baby had theirs done at a Pediatric Dentists office. I called them recently about a friend and they only do children, now. BUT, the thing you want to do when locating someone a long way off is to do what Beth did. The dentist had Beth take pictures under her tongue in various positions. He looked at the pictures, said “ YES “ and saved her the time plus driving or flying only to be turned down. Neat, huh ?

Three things: drink lots of water, move your body in gentle motions like walking and stretching and eat a diet with lots of fresh food, no processed food and being in your garden you’ll get a lot of sun. Doing these things got me out of a wheelchair as I had crippling arthritis and it is in remission and stays in remission because I found that my body does well with plants and leaving the animal foods alone. Blessings to you and good wished.

I often get upset with my husband because he doesn't like to talk about things that are important (to me). These things such as decisions our adult children make and what the consequences of those choices are, him being stranded in an island while a hurricane was imminent -yes, I was freaking out because he was there with our 11 yr old. I was terrified and looking for different options to situations that hadn't even happened yet. He refused to hear it. I was so stressed out about this hurricane that that my neck became too stiff to move it. In the middle of the night I sunk my fingernails so deep into one of my hands that I almost cut into it, and my jaw was clenched to the point that I had to slowly massage and help it relax. I was such a hot mess that I even missed a day of work. I later learned that the hurricane hit the main island of Hawaii but never touched the island of Oahu where they were located. My point? After hearing this video I've come to realize that this is why my husband doesn't have chronic aches and pains like I do, why he manages to go to sleep 2 minutes after he says he will, why he is never stressed, etc. I've always wondered how he can do that. He doesn't listen to KZbin videos, so I doubt he has ever heard this message. It is a survival mechanism that he has within himself. For 30 years, he has never wanted to hear anything that will stress him out. During that hurricane, I was angry at him because I thought he was being trifle with our son's life. I told him that, just because he didn't think about things, it didn't mean they wouldn't happen and he should always be prepared (isn't that what we're taught from a young age? I was. And yes, come to think about it, my mother is just as neurotic as I am, if not more). My take away from this video is that Dr. Mandel is saying that my husband has been right all along. I have to stop the constant thinking of everything that could go wrong. I don't have to have a solution to every situation -especially is they haven't happened yet! I have to get rid of my stressors and that constant fight or flight response that I live with which is quite possibly the reason my jaw is always clenched. I'm going to try... hard. It's going to be hard to switch my brain into a different thinking mode after 53 years, but Dr Mandel says this old dog can learn new tricks. So I'm gonna try. Send me some good vibes, will ya?

You're too beautiful to be so stressed. It can cause premature aging ect. So I think you can begin by being your own best friend. And begin telling yourself that it's going to happen if you don't give up. Mirror your husbands healthy habits. Don't be afraid you will be shaky and tense. Believe, meditate on goodness and know there is a higher power taking care of everything that concerns your life. So just live you are peace, you are love, be grateful like Dr. Mandell said. 😎❤👍

I got rid of 30 years of pain, fibromyalgia, pain from DDD and more by understanding the mind body connection. This video, and this doctors teachings, couples with the teachings of Dr. Sarno, will give all of you the information you need not only to be pain free, but also free of many other diseases. Thanks to all the doctors who truly care about treating the cause of the problem, instead of just handing out a pill.

How do you ignore pain that leaves you bed bound? Also how do you ignore stress that is out of your hands? I am talking about major stress like having a toddler with a heart defect (that can not be in daycare due to covid); stress about not knowing if you'll have a roof over your head due to a situation...your pain that doesn't allow you to work or take care of your child. The fact that doctors send you away and don't believe you. These are examples of some stressors.

Absolutely! I have not cured my Hashimoto yet, but I believe in positive thinking and being grateful every day for all the abundance there is in my life. The birds, the sun, my bed, a roof over my head, my friends and family, having money to buy food and warm water, to be able to hear, see, talk, walk e.s.o. Even in my darkest days (long ago) I made a gratitude list of at least 5 things for that day before I went to sleep. It helped me a lot in those days. And I still do it! When I wake up, still in my bed, and before I go to sleep.

@@helenabok1610 I agree with what Dr M is saying and I intend on looking deeper into it. But I thought I tell you about Dr Ken Berry and is wife Neisha. Dr Berry is an MD who had a medical practice for years and his wife is a nurse. His wife had hashimotos for a long time and he started doing research on the affects of what we put in our mouths. Basically he and his wife started a KZbin channel to share what they've learned and they have cured his wife. It basically started with keto but they've gone carnivore. Anyway they had to do IVF to get pregnant with their first child. After that she had gone straight carnivore and got pregnant by surprise and had a babygirl last July, I think it was July. But they give all kinds of free info on their channel and he even points you to any research that he's found and the details of why and if it's a relevant research. I personally know that when I don't eat sugar or carbs, my RA, fibromialgia, osteoarthritis and osteoporosis pain is 80% gone. However I'm a carb addicted so I haven't been able to go to straight carnivore. I have found some pain relief with IF but that's only when I do an extended fast like 20 to 45 hours. I hope this was helpful. The one thing that truly works is my new born again spirit and truly seeking God with all of my heart. That alone has kept me joyful and at peace. God Bless you in your journey to a pain and hashimoto free life🤗

I'm sure that most people watching this video are here because of chronic pain, trying to figure out if there's anything that can be done. Most of us are pretty desperate by now. I am one of them and honestly when I first started listening I thought hey this is just minimizing something that is very real to me, but I kept listening and it started to make more sense on many levels. I'm going to try to help my pain. I've never considered It from the perspective that maybe it's there because I expect it to be. Anyhow I have to start somewhere and this seems like a very good place. It may not cure all my pain but anything would be better than what I've been going through, so if you have constant chronic pain at least be willing to try. The brain is an amazing organ.

If I lived in my car at the side of the road I would still be grateful, because as a lifelong Bible student I know how temporary the trials of this life are and the reason for trials, many of which we bring on ourselves. I try to keep my focus on the coming Kingdom which Jesus will set up at his return. Ageing ... not easy but its actually normal so don't be deluded that youth is forever, be kind to your body, don't blame yourself for something you have no control over.

Fifteen years here. I had a severely pinched nerve and I was gas lit by my GP of 21 years and by every specialist she sent me to. I was emotionally and verbally abused, completely brick walled, misdiagnosed with cyclothymia and given negligent treatment and no proper care. I needed 3 surgeries and no doctor I saw would help me. I had to go out of province to get a referral to a specialist in the US who knew about my neuropathy. Even with travelling to see these specialists and getting a diagnosis and treatment plan, my GP ignored them and left me to languish in agony for four years! I had to hire a registered nurse consultant to advocate for me. It is not easy to rewire a Sympathetic Nervous that was left agitated for 11 years.

God made the body. We must go to our maker for solutions. Not to the pill pushing doctors. God has given the body the ability to repair itself. We must search to find our answer.

oh damn, forget your gods whatever it is. It is just YOU and your body which can heal and space around us which connect us all. Thanks so much dr. Mandell for so many great exercise you share with us. Iam just trying to heal my wrist and after few days it is so much better then after 3 weeks in hands of classic doctors.

Thank you for addressing this issue. I come from a family where fibromyalgia afflicts all females on my maternal side, going back at least 4 generations…. Your segments offer different options to the opioids, SNRI, and neuropathic pain meds that have become a new mix to help people like me function and maintain a somewhat productive life.

I always thought psychology played an important role in virtually all healing professions. IMO, Dr Mandell's effectiveness probably lies most in his insights of human psychology. I should add he also seems to be extraordinarily sincere and conscientious. A great source of inspiration for healing..
