This is a terrific lesson. I learned more Lightning Hopkins in 13 minutes than in the last 60 years of trying to learn his stuff on my own. Thanks.

Hey Heath, great lesson. I have one question, if I may. I am a bit confused by your tab and was hoping you could clear this up for me. On the 2nd bar, in the bass-line "response", you are showing 2 open E's, then a G, then the open A. Those 2 open E's in the tab for this bar seem a bit off/wrong to me, and you don't seem to be playing them in the video despite them being in the tab. It sounds like the first E here is not being played. Is this me not getting this, or is there something slightly off with the tab here? Hopefully you can shed some light, as I'm finding it hard to get the rhythm right and I keep tripping up on this part. Many thanks in advance, and keep up the excellent content!!
@FeedbackGuitarAcademyАй бұрын
Yea that part is hard to play. The tabs are correct and Im playing it just like the tabs. The first open low E comes right after the slide up to the 5th fret on the B string, then its followed by another open E and then G then A. Since its a swing rhythm, its played very quickly after that slide. Slow down the video and you'll see it. Thanks for watching, I hope this helps!
