Exactly! My 3 month old has been putting his hands in his mouth, drooling a ton, and showing more tongue activity. It can be so confusing but you hit the nail on the head… his feeding is more routine than based on cues. Sometimes I go to feed him and he doesn’t want to be fed but I have to try. It was especially confusing when he’d suck his hands profusely but he uses his hands instead of a pacifier. I can tell when he’s hungry because while he does tongue stuff all the time, when he’s hungry he’ll look at my boobs and look intently at only me while doing mouth stuff 😂

Yes my baby was starting to have swollen gums at 2 months! And has a tooth now at 3 months. But while feeding him, about 5-8 min in he starts crying and also acting like he’s pooping but he doesn’t. Do you have any thoughts on this? He now only poops once a day or even once every other day. I’m not sure if this is all related but trying to figure out if he’s not getting enough due to painful gums and then doesn’t poop because he doesn’t get enough. Should I be concerned?

I don’t. But more often than not feeding one side per session (called block feeding) can help. It is over diagnosed. I have one on spit up and one on block feeding.

My baby is 3 mos and had a tooth erupt 😬 no wonder she started the drooling and hand sucking at 2.5 months if it starts well before the eruption! This is helpful to hear though as I've had stress around her weight gain and second guess if I should be feeding her or not sometimes still.

My baby sometimes while feeding cries and reacts as if she not able to gulp milk down... Please help me why it happens...does she have pediatrics dysphagia? Please help me to understand... She is about to be six months old nd she does it sometimes while I m in sitting position while breastfeeding.. but if I lay down or I switched the breast side sometimes she is fine... Please help me... Nd she does have excessive spit ups ... But her weight gain is good nd over all she is a happy baby
