Hey we both had stupid accidents recently! Today when I was rushing to get ready to take my dog to the vet I slipped on water in my kitchen and banged my head on the corner of my wall HARD. I immediately started gushing blood and ran to put a towel on it and rescheduled my appointment. Looking at it is a pretty big sized gash that's a little over an inch long on the side of my head. I didn't want to get stitches because no insurance but after sending pics to a couple people they told me I needed to go so I went to urgent care (150$ up front just to be seen) and another bill sent in the mail, really looking forward to seeing that considering the doctor only looked at my wound and didn't recommend stitches or staples! So he literally just cleaned it with hydrogen peroxide and sent me on my way. And I'm getting billed for that. Yay American Healthcare system.... 😒 Anyways long story short I guess head wounds bleed a shit ton but the good news is they heal really fast. I hope your nose heals fast too and sorry you broke your nose!

You’ve helped me learn so much about all these lovely creatures and more! They’re all so beautiful and badass! I’m sorry your nose is broken, I know that hurts, but you’re powering through it and even made a full feeding video, which in my opinion makes you the Queen of the Badasses 🖤😁 I hope it heals well and fast, and thank you for teaching so many of us about these critters!! My jumping spider Sally is very grateful, especially since she used to be Jack (like Jack Skellington) until she had a nest of eggs and she was renamed Sally while I frantically rewatched your videos on jumping spider eggs, cocoon nests and spiderlings 🤣 They turned out infertile but I still really appreciate you having those videos to learn from! Thanks for showing the velvet spider. I always love how they do a take down. I wanted to go ahead and second the comment of doing your research for your doctor. If you do decide to get the rhinoplasty, I had to get one for sinus tissue removal and the doctor accidentally burned a nerve and so when I do deep breath through my nose, I get a kind of a weird sensation but it’s definitely worth it. I don’t have sinus infections anymore.

I didn't actually break my nose, but came *very* close and ended up with a black eye and huge bruise on my face after tripping and falling into a table while chasing my dog a couple months ago, so I know it feels to have a stupid accident!😅 Hope your nose gets better quickly!!

My 2nd tarantula, a B.hamorii has been refusing food for about a year now. It's at the point where it's mildly concerning, but her abdomen is still the same size as her carapace and it's not shriveled or anything, so i just gotta be more patient i guess. Yes I have tried other feeders, my theory is that I overfed her wax worms and so she went into the "food refusal" part of premolt pretty early on.

Brachypelma can be a pain. Very fussy eaters in my experience. Especially when kept at room temp. Their metabolism is very slow anyways. But nothing to be concerned about. Just a cheap animal to keep

Would covering the side of the centipede container when you aren’t checking on it help? Based on the theory that it covered your viewing window to hide in a darker place, especially if it was preparing to molt.

Crickets do stink and the noise yikes. Thankfully my dragon lines superworms better. Its just to difficult finding them in my state since its cold af. I have never seen a centipede eat before! Its interesting to me how they eat!
