Tip! You only need 1 road connected to a sector wall to save space. There is an internal road within the walls, you can mix the entry/exit points around as needed.

in my own game i turned sector 6 into my farming district since i unlocked crop farms back in the prologue, so i was able to build them super early, plus having it in sector 6 made transferring workers from sector 1 faster, and am now using sector 3 asa population/colonisation sector in chapter 2

Dude, I just realised something. Hull Integrity repair efficiency is determined by how much "health" is missing from the bar. If its full, the repairs will be running less efficient costing you resources, but repairs will be even better after you let the hull drain for a bit until it reaches 50%, and then resume the repairs. You can save plenty of Iron if you micromanage your EVA Airlocks into periodically repairing the hull. In other words, don't auto-repair your hull when it's near full.

I hope there isn't a situation where you leave too many buildings unpowered and it makes people unhappy. They always manage to find something to be unhappy about, like too many factories in a sector, too many cryopods unopened, too many insect farms, too much garbage, poor housing conditions, etc.

They don't like unpowered houses. But shuting down factories and stuff doesn't seem to be a problem. (Of course, only if shut down by hand. if you have a general power shortage then they are also unhappy)

You forgot how they are unhappy about staying in Sol for so long but then when you leave Sol, they are unhappy about not seeing the sun anymore...the people in this game are dumb. And i swear the patch gave them a right hand, but it chopped off a foot.

You should also try and micro hull repairs as the more you repair the more inefficient it gets. Ideally you want to stop at about 75 per cent than switch back on in 50 per cent (game will give you a warning)

I stopped and did the maths, it saves workers and power but doesn't effect the steel cost per 1 hull point so its not worth worrying about just yet

I'm having to restart this chapter again, twice now, for different reasons. The last time, I built crop farms, ran out of food then realized I needed to build fields. 😒 So some destruction later and a field or two placed, only for them to *NOT* build... 🙄 _12:10__ Correct field placement._ _12:44__ Incorrect placement._ Edit: So I guess placement doesn't matter?! 22:51 Building must be on and materials are delivered to Crop Farm Building, not the field... 😔

Yep the farm needs the road connection, the fact they have to be ON to build more fields sucks but it is what it is

Huh. How did you get that many cryopods? I thought I completely cleaned out the solar system, but it looks like I have about 150 less. Wonder if some of the choices I made on the dialogs cost me that many potential pops. Hope there's some way to get more down the road...

It appears that the water from the Fusion Station can ONLY be used in that sector? I don't see any way to transfer water between sectors. (Unless the fusion Station supplies water to the whole Ship?)

Water is local, How it gets from the Fusion station to even the crops is a mystery to everyone on the ship!

Who do you keep a sector for going angery when you bring in cryos? I get a -3 as soon as they arrive.

Option 1: Bring them in in waves. (you get a -1 debuff for every 250 you have on board) Option 2: Just keep them happy with a monument and propaganda (and if you have the tech, maybe a temple or have one exo-arena thing in one sector and build the train stations, then every sector gets a bonus from that one arena.) I get a +3 happines from propaganda alone and better housing also brings happiness. I was able to have about 1000 cry pods on board without my people getting angry.

@@rshinde6338 Ah, okay. When you are just starting then option 1 would be he way to go. Only take in a few pods at a time. somewhere between 100 and 200. (keep in mind: ALL pods on the station count. Cryopods that may still be in the hangar are not counted on the top of the screen, but they are counted towards the happiness debuff)

@@JDPlays That makes sense. I was just thinking in terms of one and done - laying it all out and pausing construction on everything, then slowly turning things on as resources allow.
