Let's use it right now to hypnotize the Republicans into letting go of enough Senate seats to give the Dems a wide majority, (or at the very least, create a mysterious urge in McConnell, Graham and Susan Collins to suddenly up and retire). May it also create an urgent need in Orange Man to save himself the painful, growing shame of impeachment and quickly resign, along with the rest of his cabinet, leaving Nancy Pelosi as our first female POTUS. A girl can dream, can't she? I blame this Kush-y groove for encouraging me to spin this elaborate liberal fantasy. And yes, I'll happily share what I'm smoking.

I feel like Djesse Vol. 2 is by far Jacob's best work. The features and the arrangements are just so good. I've always thought his talent was insane, but just paring it down with the RnB sound and mixing his dynamic harmonies is perfect for this record. And this song is definitely my favorite but the whole album is just amazing.

This song is the embodiment of that blurry and out of this world feeling that you get when you're looking at someone you love or when you're feeling happy and peaceful and you're looking at the sky/nature... it's a feeling you can't really describe with words. It's like it's just you and that person/nature and everything else is blocked out. It's literally like staring into someone's eyes or at the stars and moon and not leaving and letting your mind just fly. It feels so surreal. This song is perfect to describe that feeling.. especially towards the end of it. There are so many feelings that we can't describe with words and music is one the best alternatives for that.

OMG!! This perfectly descibes this song! When i first listened to it and also got emotional because throughout the song (especially before the end) Its like the music is almost saying, be at peace, and at the very end its like Lianne La Hava’s voice is saying to inhale, and exhale. Overall, an astounding piece of music. I play this song like everyday to reset myself ☺

It appears that the more you know about music, the more you can appreciate Jacob. I end up looking for, asking around for musicians who I can turn on to his music, who will have the depth and the ears to dig what miracles he makes. To most folks, "music" is just the sonic wallpaper that plays in the background when they shop. For those of us to whom Music is a religion, Jacob is it's Prophet. Check out his body of work and be amazed.

Exceptional sonic depth and sublime intonation. Harmonic complexity. Technical accuracy, parallel with that which is lush, soulful. Ethereal. Amazing. Majestic.

Probably the most seductive song I've ever heard from Collier. The whole mood is Quincy Jones / Take 6 unreleased cut. The only thing that slightly takes away from this song for me are the audible breaths during the "ooh yeah" vamp. But I'll be fine and this is a mood. Good on you, Jacob.

I love her voice and she uses it so well. Perfect that Jacob and she worked together. I love it. My heart is in it's happy place. He's inspiring me to find myself and love and nurture what I find. Can it get any better?

Amazing. Actually truly amazing. For some reason many of my favourite artists are collaborating now. It feels like music is both having a greater impact on creativity while also bringing people together. Great musicians collaborating rather than competing. Life truly is beautiful!
