As a mom of 3 (with #4 on the way), I don't think you have to get every little detail finished. Do as much as you have energy for, but save yourself some fun things to do when baby arrives. As amazing as it is to have them, the newborn stage is really repetitive. Leaving a few fun tasks for yourself helps break up the monotony. When we brought home our first, all of the nursery furniture was in our bedroom because the stain on the nursery floors was still drying 🤦🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️ I don't recommend that, haha, but I enjoyed piecing the nursery back together after I was recovered. Especially if babe will be in your room, which is what we do too, focus on making that space efficient and ready to go. If you imagine yourself going through a day with baby, what all do you need to be ready? That helps with prioritizing. Hope that helps! And it's just one Mama's advice, of course

Hey Ash, Let me just say everything you’re feeling is sooo normal!! My baby girl turned 6 months last week and the only method that has truly helped me is taking things day by day and giving myself grace, even though that’s a real mental exercise. I’m trying to accept that some days things go great, I’m super prepared, the house is clean and my little one took all the naps and does so well, and other days life is just madness and I barely make it to the bathroom. It’s just what mom life is like and I’ve stopped beating myself up about it. Also, something that really helped my husband and me is allowing each other to take some time “off” without judgement when things are just too much in the moment. It can mean just being able to leave the room for 10 minutes or take an hour away from the house. Honestly, it works WONDERS and has helped us avoid major meltdowns. Being a parent is the best thing but it’s also hard work and there should be no shame in admitting that sometimes, we hit our limits. You guys are doing great and will be the best parents to your little one! Sending lots of love xx

Just had my little girl last week. Breastfeeding while I watch your video! You have more than enough time. Our nursery isn’t finished because she’s sleeping in our room in a SNOO. Don’t worry :) also you’ll get nesting energy a few weeks before you’re due. You’ll get so much done in that time.

My obs were also pediatricians... So the person that helped bring my babies into the world remain their doctor. I love taking them in now at 3 and 4 and their doctor can say oh remember when they were 2...its just a comfort to me.

I’m not sure how far along you are, but you definitely have time. I am a teacher and was crazy busy and I wasn’t able to get things done until about 36 weeks pregnant. You’ll get TONS of baby shower gifts that you’ll feel like you almost have too much. I had 2 showers as well. Honestly, I recommend getting a ton of sleepers. My son still loves being in them all day and he’s about to be 4 months. The cute outfits are adorable, but as a new mom recovering from surprise a c-section we just stayed home for the first two months of his life. Of course, every baby and pregnancy is different, so this is just my advice based on my experience. Best of luck though! I can’t wait to see the nursery. ❤️🍀

I also took ritual prenatals through my first pregnancy and switched to their postnatals until I found out I was pregnant again but I also do not take the dark pills haha. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Mom of 2 and it's gonna be okay. Number one is 3 now and both never use their rooms haha. Also CO sleeping in your bed is fine, did this with both, there's a couple of things to think of but it's not necessarily unsafe. You'll be doing great because your a loving mama. That all it takes. Can't wait to see you with baby. All the love

As a mum you have plenty of time and I wouldn't spend too much energy on getting everything because she will have her own ideas...like could totally hate the glider etc. Best advice...onesies with feet and zippers will save your life...if you have a baby with reflux you will be constantly changing clothes and last thing you want to be dealing with are fussy clothes!! And booties get lost. So excited for you xx

I've been taking the Ritual prenatals and I always throw out the questionable dark pill too!

. The noticeable difference is due to the oil blend seeping into the inner cap, leading to a "darkening effect" when the oil blend comes into contact with the powder ingredients of the inner capsule.
