Such a good little video, thanks Patrick. I love the painting of Toby's toy, maybe because I can imagine the emotions. Also the ones of the sunflowers. I really hope you do some more videos soon. You are very modest as your paintings say so much....

I miss your watercolor videos. I always blame you for making me paint. Personally I think the essence of watercolor is fast sketches. You seemed to master it. Of course some are better then others but it was a treat to see your work. My favorite is the one with a spoon. Really like the loose style and minimal details. Thanks!

Especially nice to see your mixing tray in videos too. Helps to speed up mixing and understand needed thickness of the paint.

Thank you for sharing. I'm a follower through my interest in watercolour, but my favourites are the whiskey glass and the buddha - very impressive. Would be interested to know your thoughts on how to start in oils and the comparisons with watercolour. Sorry to hear about your dog (great name by the way!), it's been over 4 years but I still think about and miss my dog pretty much every day...

That’s worth talking about and I will include it in a video soon , I think painting in oils helps my watercolour painting and vice versa. Thanks for your kind words about Toby it’s a big adjustment period at the moment he’s missed so much.

Just love the farmhouse! I also love the sparkling water in the beach scene.I truly love the scattered leaves! I find the plums quite compelling. I am so, so sorry to hear about your Toby. It is always so difficult to lose a beloved pet. The vase of flowers in oil is so lovely. As I watched you show each painting I thought each was quite good! Thank you for sharing these. You always inspire me. The field and trees reminded me of Van Gogh. I so much enjoyed this video. I hope life continues to treat you well.

I loved seeing the progression of what you've painted last month, and of course Toby's toy has my heart. When my Bodhi passed a few years ago I painted a collection of her toys and I'm so glad i have that now. My favourite was a painting you didn't show during the video but it was on your instagram feed. It's the one of the Malvern Hills. Another favourites from an earlier time was the letterbox format you painted of the old wooden gate with the Malvern Hills in the distance. Have a great day! Patricia
