Thank you for the upload! I have bought a new G6 and try to use it with the Feiyu On app. I can connect with the app and G6 but when i want to change te settings i always get the pop up screen that ‘ Parameter save failed, Retry?’ . For me it is often not possible to set the autorotation mode and change the speed of the rotation. I have an Iphone 6. I tried to press shutter, setting and trigger button the same time, no message ‘clean’ is shown. Only the FY logo is on and of all the time. Nonetheless, sometimes i can get in the autorototion menu and i can set the speed (but most of the time i get a fail. But if i set up the rotation on the feiyu tech, it goes much faster and also it won’t go into follow mode automaticly. Instead of exit autorotation mode it will continue to move in all kinds of directions. Have you got any solutions? Regards daniel

Filming grand kids and off to Thailand to film elephant so your tutorial was invaluable. i did try the wifi connection with a samsung tablet but couldnt get it to work.????? Iphone worked. Only had to do it once and it connects automatically when turning on without going through the whole procedure again. Thanks

They have an extension and a tripod mount sold seperately, and you can find them on Amazon. I was really impressed with the quality of the extension pole. It can be locked at any size, and the tripod that shipped with it on Amazon was fantastic build quality.

Material feels very good but it is easily bendable if you apply some force. Be careful when you take it outdoor and do snowboard or skateboard stuff.

Hi mate... I’ve just bought one of these and I’m trying to work out how to do a timelapse...I’ve watched a few videos where it shows you have to press the function button 4 times then move the gimbal to the start position then press the function button again then move the gimbal to the end position then press the function button again then the gimbal should rotate but mine doesn’t...it goes to the start position and stays there....it doesn’t rotate....can you advise please....?

Something I experienced and would like to share it with you guys. If you have Gopro Hero 6 and you try to connect the Feiyu Tech app to go pro. Make sure you choose 2.4 ghz instead of 5.0 ghz because if you use 5.0 it wont appear on the Feiyu app to connect. Only of you change the setting on your gopro 6 to 2.4 ghz then it will show on the menu.

Hi, i have a slight problem with my Gimbal g6. When its not in selfie mode, and you press the button 3 times to put it in selfie mode, the camera turns around to face me, but then as soon as you move the handle the camera rolls back and fourth. Just wondering if you could help or fix this problem. thanks.

Hello! How were you able to mount the Gopro like that? All the other reviews I have watched show that the battery door has to be covered by the gumball, however, yours is not, and is in proper oreintation?

I tested the lock mode by pressing 1 time the mode bottom. I want to make a drone shot goes from ground in the air. When I tried that the gimbal motor was in the video. So the gopro camera was facing to the ground but when I raised my telscopic pool the gimbal motor comes into the picture. Maybe my gopro was wrong fitted into the gimbal or maybe this is not possible?

Freddy, I have one of the older gimbals and with the hero 5 and 6 they use to have major motor noise (I'm sure you know what I'm talking about). Could you do a review of the motor noise for this gimbal? As I need a new one and am dead keen on the looks of this... Also, could you swap the battery cap with an old gimbal for the threaded extension pole? Or do they use different batteries (It looked a different size) Cheers for the great vidoes :)

The motor noise isn’t great to be honest, pretty loud. It’s about the same as the G5 if you’ve seen the motor noise on that ( I have done a video on it ). I’ll try and get a video out soon with this motor noise! And the sizes are different so you can’t replace it with the old one sadly.

Well that sux.. Could your video include ways to minimise motor noise, settings for audio on the gopro that reduce the noise the most etc... I remember there were ways to reduce the motor noise on the old gimbals.

Putting the GoPro audio setting to Wind Only mode pretty much eliminated the motor noise on the G6 for me.

when in pan mode, once iv'e turned the gimbal is no longer straight and takes a few seconds to re-level. so my footage is wonky. is there something im doing wrong? Also when i first turn the gimbal on again im always having to adjust the tilt so its straight. I believe the gimbal is balanced correctly before switch on, Do you have any tips or suggestions? im hoping to get some footage tomorrow to hopefully show what i mean.

All the G6s I see for sale on Amazon, the way a Gopro fits, blocks the usbc bay, no access for external microphone. Would I be correct in saying that you can swing the motor to the opposite side, allowing access?

so if you mount the GP one way it blocks the power button , flip it over and it blocks the power port , the harness blocks the battery door , at least on gp hero 6 , WTF im so confused as to how to actually shoot on this thing, and if you turn the wrong way the motor will mess up your audio so you might want to get a wireless mic or external mic , these cameras are driving me crazy

Change the setting on Gopro wireless from 5.0 ghz to 2.4 ghz and it will show on the G6 gimbal app. I had the same problem.

Nice video but the product is Crap for the money. Have a Snoppa GO and thought to replace me. But only half the handle is covered with rubber, the rest of aluminum. Freezing cold on the fingers when it was cold outside. Insensitive joystick, No soft movement when moving the camera with the Joystick. It was on-off. Had to edit out all movements that were done with the joystick. Returned it to the store and I use my old Snoppa GO which is much more comfortable and compliant to work with than the G6.

Worth $229 on Amazon and there’s a seller who also gives free a gopro session mount and an extension stick that’s made by the same company. I just got mine and I think it’s a bad one. When I click 3 times does something weird instead of the selfie thing. Camera turns upside down and looks down. Weird.

I bought mine for 185$ from Endless Gadget. They will ship it to you by DHL. Very reliable and the cheapest you will find. But if you wait a little, soon they will introduce their latest model which is the G6 plus.

Thats odd....my G6 reconnects flawlessly. It does take 5 seconds or so, but reconnects no problems.

Bought one recently from.eglobal. function button barely responds and all the function taps don't work right and the motors lock up. Must of got a faulty one, followed everything you did on here and mine did not respond aswell in your video 👎
