The knob on the side is not only for zooming or focusing but can be used for pan and tilt, nice because you can control them better than just using the joystick.

It uses a 1/4”-20 mount so anything that threads into a tripod mount will work.

No. Very impressive. It`s one of the things which I do worry about. You could put your ear against the motors and you hear nothing. I do not know how they did it but they did good job on this device.

Interested to see the comparison video. I was planning on getting a G6, but there is another camera I have my eye on, the Weeview Sid 3D camera. There is a gimbal package that comes with it, so if stabilization works I would love to just have a single gimbal.

Awesome job: As I see this I started out with a wired 3 Axis, and now i3 battery, not its going to be one battery and all the bells I agree the G6 is going to be my gimbal if IF I need one thanks for the reviews.

I just got the G6 because I only use a gopro and it's amazing. The G6 plus worked good with the gopro but with the mobile to me at least the filming when walking was not as good as the gopro

Walking is cause for pogo effect. For smooth Z-axis you need different type of gimbal. Or buy Z-axis spring arm for this one.

@@philippon11 I actually bought the gimbal from this reviewer a few days ago, it's not loud at all, nearly silent if you balance it properly. That being said, if it isn't balanced well, it will be very audible.

When recording on GoPro Hero 5,6 on the Feiyutech G6 Plus, can you hear the gears move since the microphones on GoPro are very sensitive. Can you do a test without music.

My G6 plus seems to have alot of issues with my gopro hero 6. Basic movement and combination or tilting my hand and locking the gimbal on lock mode often set the g6 plus spinning and reset its position, and often I felt that the motor is "grinding" and set the gimbal spinning 360 degrees a couple of times. I don't get that on my g5. Any idea?

My question is why do you need a Gimbal when action cameras are known to produce smooth stabilized footage even if hand-held or mounted over a simple gorilla tripod. Does gimbal makes it extra smooth.

Looks like a good gimbal. I went with the Feiyu Tech A1000. The price was right and it works very well with all types of cameras as well as the fittings for each. It would be fun to see a side by side.

Any one had that issue...?? I was using the G6 for few days with the Hero. I don't tight it too much but I notice a discolor on the front screen of my Hero. You might want to be gentle with that.

Yes that’s very common with many go pro mounts. The finish on the go pro gets scuffed and discolored easily with wear

Did you make sure you put the GoPro at 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi? It won’t work if it’s set to 5 GHz

I'm having issues with the 'follow' mode (i.e. double tap) with my Sony a6500 w 16-70mm lens attached. Other modes work but this doesn't. Anybody else had this problem? I'm returning mine tomorrow if not fixed.
