The master himself at his best or if not at his bestest.Fela the great ,his music is unique and will live forever.Yesteryear musicians most of them their type of music had originality and made a lot of sense.Their music was just like a calling from God.Whereas the present day generation they talk instead of singing. What a shame, they are noise makers.

Music is universal. Even among the military there is a lot of love for Fela's music. It's no accident that they go to the Fela shrine in mufty even after work; including many if those who had to do what they were asked to do by their officers. Don't forget that as much as we line Fela too he is really provocatively stubborn and difficult to defend. You don't expect him to gather friends among those in power with that kind of civil disobedience. But that is not to say that they do not like his music.
