After running the 200, 400 (earlier the 100) and then transitioning to hurdles in high school, I realized this was the best balanced raced in TnF. In HS there is only the 300 lows so I cant speak to the 400 hurdles but the hurdles is a true race that will teach you about endurance. More than the quater can, speed more than the 100 or 200 can, and technique and focus more than any other race - you take your eye off that bar or forget to power your back leg through and your 1 to 2 hurdle lead could be gone all in a flash. I loved the hurdles. Follow thru in life
