Omg, this video is most need for me. You are absolutely correct how your pelvic and fascia is connected. Since my knee surgery 3 years ago. My knee never got a perfect bend shortly after I had my pop. I have been working on exercises for my knee , toes, spreading them, ankle, calves and doing hip work. I hope some these suggested exercises I will incorporate them. I also do cupping myself and this helps my fascia . Seat yoga has been helpful. Thanks so much. It will give relief so much needed.

EVERYONE needs to do this workout on a regular basis-feet health is so important to me - I've always had jobs where I was on my feet so in my 40's I developed heel spurs and plantar fasciitis - once you go down that road it's very difficult to reverse-- these exercises are great - your body NEEDS flexible feet for optimum health but your feet are so easy to ignore. Now there's no excuse! Love this workout

Amazing class! I notice the feet in V like that is called "first position" in ballet and promotes lifting the pelvic floor and recently found out a FANTASTIC TIP towards that: "Feel as though you could slip a sheet of paper under the heels" said the ballet teacher and that totally helps get that lifted feeling! It's like it keeps us from collapsing into the heels but still being on them.

I honestly did not know that stress can effect this part of my body, but now I understand. I always associated stress as in shoulder or back pain. I now have a pessary. I will likely opt for surgery but I am in no hurry. I also have poly peripheral neuropathy so I am pretty de-conditoned in general. I am also 76 and live alone. It is tough. Even driving can be a problem with numbness over longer distances. The reason I am writing is because I have searched and used some of the youtube videos for POP. Yours are the best. I understand the lengthy prelude and explanation before every exercise initially, but after a time or two, if you are trying to use the videos regularly, it is frustrating time co and time consuming to sit through all the instruction when you just want to do your exercises. For me, it would be so helpful to have an initial video that goes through all the reasons and instructions, etc. but then it would be nice to move to another video with just the sequence of exercises you could do along with it. It could have reminders of this or that, but not the whole speech. It would also be great to have videos separated into seated, standing or floor POP exercises, which you already do , buy, again separated from the initial one with all the instructions. If you created some of these, you could see them by subscription or video class. I would love to be able to just do the exercises with you without having to extend the process of what you have already taught me or by having to stop and start the video. I have not purchased the LIFT program because I am afraid that it is set up the same way. Thank you for your help and kind, loving approach. But, I am struggling to function with daily chores as it is and I can only deal with so many in a day. The quality of my life is tanked.
@vibrantpelvichealth Жыл бұрын
Thank you for sharing your thoughts and experiences. Your feedback about the videos is valuable. I understand your desire for condensed exercise videos and separating them by categories. While I can't modify existing videos, your input will be considered for future content. If you're considering the LIFT program, know that it offers a structured approach. However, your comfort and needs come first. I empathize with your challenges and am here to support you.You're not alone on this journey. 🌼

I can so relate to leg cramps. Really affects my ability to exercise. I find relief with additional oral Magnesium, Epsom Salt baths, or even just foot soaks and adequate hydration i.e.water and salt. I also now keep Hylands Leg Cramp Ointment at hand and their Leg Cramp pills, both act right away. Mustard by the teaspoon takes away foot and leg cramps, too. I know, sounds weird but it works for me.

This is BLOWING MY MIND because nobody understands when I tell them that when I felt something snap in my perineum, my FEET also began to hurt. Also very little sensation in my testicles and penis. I have muscle atrophy in my feet as well, more on the right side. I have discovered just recently that strengthening the pelvic floor is not the solution for me at this time. Relaxing through deep breathing seems to be helping. You are the first person, and I’ve watched many videos, , who has made a connection between the feet and the pelvic floor.

I hear you. I have many issues with my pelvic floor, including prolapse. The more i feel my bladder falling down, the more sick i feel in my liver. My skin turns yellow and metal taste in my mouth. As soon my bladder moves back in the right position, is like a miracle, my liver feels good again. Doctors have never believed me. They separate everything in the body. Also when i've tried to do exercises like kegels it makes things much worse. I've tried many exercises and nothing works. For me also feels like the right approach is to do breathing exercises and anything that relaxes my pelvic floor. Doctors think that if your organs are falling out, you need to do kegels. It doesnt apply for evryone. (mind my English. My first language is Spanish)

These are excellent movements, thank you for this. I have been a yoga teacher for years and have always incorporated these movements into my classes, it’s good to see a focus on these important motions. One thing I would like to suggest is that, during the side to side ankle movements, starting at 6:00 (inversion/eversion), that you keep the toes from lifting. Subtly different but really helps focus the muscular activity on the target muscles.
@vibrantpelvichealth9 ай бұрын
Absolutely, your suggestion adds a valuable refinement to the movement, ensuring a more targeted engagement of the muscles. Keeping the toes grounded during inversion/eversion can enhance the effectiveness of the exercise. I love this video! I would love to pick your brain. So I’ve been having a pain in my right glute for months now. I thought it was sciatica, but it’s only in my glute. I saw a sports advanced massage therapist and he told me my ankles and feet are weak. He said I need to wear barefoot shoes and stop wearing my custom insoles. I walk a little in and my chiropractor told me my right foot is more fallen. I also have a bunion on my left foot. I would love all the help from you! Do you think transitioning to barefoot around the house, barefoot shoes, and doing this video will help strengthen everything and eventually get rid of this pain?? I feel this pain when I’m doing everyday things like bending over sometimes and in the cat pose, not the cow. TIA!

It sounds like you're taking a proactive approach to address the pain in your right glute. Strengthening the feet and ankles can have positive effects on overall stability and may contribute to relieving some discomfort. Engaging in exercises barefoot, like the ones in the video, can help strengthen the muscles in your feet and ankles. Gradually transitioning to barefoot shoes, especially if recommended by a professional, can allow your feet to adapt. Start with short durations and gradually increase. Since you've received advice from a sports advanced massage therapist and a chiropractor, it might be helpful to follow up with them for guidance specific to your condition. ~ Vibrant Support

Thank you. Really needed this. I am having pain sometimes when I walk in my groin and I am having pain in the area just underneath my knee and on top of my foot.

Groin pain is due to tight Hip-Flexor muscle, stretch this muscle. ( caused by sitting too long). Knee n top of yr foot pain, stretch Quadracep muscle n calf muscle. Before doing it, warm up those muscle by walking up n down for 1 minute. Stretch with warm muscles n not cold muscles. Hope this helps u. God bless u much ♥️✝️

I recommend seeing a pelvic floor PT for an in person session. In the meantime, you can focus on tension release. I have many videos on the topic :)

I will definitely try these Have had plantar fasciitis and pelvic problem for years and never encountered feet exercises before Now I have had knee problems in one of my knees. Was given a set of exercises for this and my back which resulted in oedema around the ankles; relieved only by leg elevation; the recommendation given by the therapist But it has triggered my plantar fasciitis and brought pain to my ankles too I hope and pray that these exercises will eliminate both Thank you for sharing and God keep you safe

I also like your 10 minute pelvic floor and core routine for the morning. Would it be too much if I do both routines daily?

Combining both routines daily is fine if it feels good for your body, but listen to your body and adjust as needed. ~ Vibrant Support
