So in my Arabic class I've been told when stopping on a ta marbuta we change the closed taa into a haa. The sound of a 'ha' is pronounced at the end but you are saying it's an 'a', ie jannah not janna. Yes it's in connection with femininity.

i'm confused because of this, every youtube arabic lesson says ta marbuta is pronounced as ha (in the end of the word), but when i see transcriptions from arabic it's always silent maybe it has something to do with different dialects
