Amen Rom! My best friend's wife is super feminine. She has to send him to hang out with us so she can have alone time. She's very traditional in every way [also a marketing exec in NYC for an international brand], always with a smile on her face as her resting position. Feminity is the Number 1 thing on my list... I heard a story from a successful female contractor who had her own construction firm after running a successful real estate office. She'd gotten into being respected as a Contractor so much that she neglected her feminine rituals and appearance. Her real estate agency slipped too because her appearance was no longer as pulled together as people used to. She refocused on her feminity. Her business rebounded quickly. One day she had to receive a massive order of materials from Home Depot; enough to fill up a trailer. Her real estate appointment ran long so she had no choice but to drive the trailer over to the store and receive the order in her sandal heels, well-fitting skirt suit, and pink top. She only intended on paying for the order, then circling back after changing because she lived close by. The men would not have it... They recognized her from the years before, and at least ten men formed instantly like a colony of ants. They assembled her order, then filled her truck trailer. They tied everything down for her and let her know how much they enjoyed do it. I say all of that to say this... I was gifted with the strength to easily have been the strongest of any of those men who helped her that day. However, her feminity was strong enough to seamlessly summon the strength of ten men to do a task in thirty minutes that would've taken me all day to do, without asking... Ladies... Use your strength.

We are in a dark place in history when women have not been taught or embrace Feminine energy. I have seen women who are not the prettiest in the room out shine a masculine pretty looking women. Personally I refuse to deal with overly masculine women - its a clash of the titans on a daily basis

I grew up around feminine women. My mother was a prime example and could get my father and brothers to do anything. As I have gotten older I realize how much of a skill it is. I never really had problems with brothers most of the time lol. I encourage and respect them whenever I can ; life is tough enough for all of us we got to do better. I don't think women realize the power of acting like a lady and know yourself and your value.. It doesn't look good to be chasing a man especially as we get older. Be yourself and people will be attracted to that not just men but in life. I have worked in different positions with many women living in their masculine energy it was exhausting and competive most of the time; especially if their are brothers around lol. God the stories I could tell of hating masculine women.. It draining to be around anyone who would rather challenge you than to build together. Thank god I work from home now.... ( sorry for the long post) btw Rom love your perspective of thing it reminds me of my father...

This is SO true! Over the last 2 years, and really the last year FOR SURE, I've been really working on getting in tuned with my feminine energy. I used to be a woman with WAY TOO MUCH masculine energy. Now it's been a complete 180. When I tell you men fall from OUT OF THE SKY and literally flock to me, I mean it. Men and women in fact pick up on that and are drawn to you. Feminine energy is one of the most POWERFUL things a woman can master and tap into. What's amazing is that it's our NATURE. So when you begin to explore it, learn what it is and how it affects EVERYTHING in your life... Living in it daily as your way of life becomes so easy. It's a part of us. Any woman who is having a hard time attracting the right man, or even really out of balance in her life in general, fix that and you'll be shocked at how the tides will turn for you. Lol I know you are right. It's difficult for us who were raised by women who were overwhelmed by working and doing more for the household than they were made for. Just to survive. My mother always nagged my dad. I wish she didn't... it could have changed all if our (kids) lives for the better if she was nicer. Maybe she thought she had to. And maybe she was just so angry her life wasn't how she thought it would be she made the rest of us unhappy too

@GourJessJay Your answer to this is impressive. The original commenter was mainly speaking on how feminity is valued in other cultures. I've only dated feminine women, however, they didn't value it enough to be feminine in our relationships and remain that way in our exchanges. I didn't realize there was a cultural aspect to it until I unpacked my experience with African and American women of other ethnicities. We love the hell out of Black women, however, it's impossible to love someone if they fall outside the nature of what I am capable of loving long term.
