Yep I always said this to my girlfriends, the flashy guys are often fronts. It’s a mentality, I spot low key upscale black men everywhere. Association meetings, business conferences etc., these type of men are often working on their business, women have to get around their world and blend in.....

Yeah. It is the weirdest experience to feel that emotion of being intimidated by women who look better than you and it is also a weird experience to watch other women feel intimidated when they do not feel as good about themselves around you. It can happen that women from different tiers can get along. But when men are involved it usually does not bode well for female to female relationships. The competition creates this maliciousness that really is not worth the effort it takes to maintain any of the relationships. Men capitalise on this. Maintaining relationships with men in a female competitive environment also serves no real benefit long term.

Real talk... Brother Rom is telling all the secrets. I can rarely meet up with my successful Fraternity Brothers due to how exclusive their regular hangouts are. Brother wanted to meet for brunch in Ralph Lauren's restaurant on the Magnificent Mile when I was in Chicago struggling in my new career. Now that I'm back on the east coast, they typically only hang at exclusive club openings or private parties on yachts and in The Hamptons. I barely feel comfortable in these spaces until we get into an area of my expertise. What Rom said about the female beauty is spot on. I've seen this phenomenon when some guys brought their girlfriends to private parties, and have seen it even more exaggerated as I've gotten older with a more successful peer group. It's common for us to be with diplomats, and important people in finance, medical sales, and clothes manufacturing because that's what my buddies are into.

@@helloladieswithromwills6426 I agree with you that money plays a big role, but it's not "big" money. It's much more the man's ability to show his ability to love, cherish, communicate and nuture. It does not require a lot of money. He does not have to be ballin' to get it right; not for the right kind of woman. Being able to hold hands in the park during a walk, or take a long drive on a beautiful day, or go for a hike may take some money, but they don't require breaking the bank. A nice card - just because, or some flowers because it's Wednesday, or a warm kiss on the back of the neck - these things speak volumes and they do not require a black credit card. However, they do pay back in spades! Just something for our men to consider.

Ima Hicks I understand what you say but this is not what women mostly want. Most of the time women find those constant nice gestures « boring ». Have you heard about women not wanting nice guys ? this is REAL. Unfortunately it’s after years of not finding the « right one » because of unrealistic expectations that they finally come to a place of finding those nice guys that they were rejecting before. On the top of that the dating pool is extremely reduced after 35y/o women because she’s less desirable physically.
