I am 36 and have been married to my husband for 14 years. We have been together for 17 years. One of my tips to help accentuate my feminity is to appreciate my husband's masculinity. I'm not a damsel in distress, but I let my husband do things for me and then thank him for him. For example, he removed the heavy air conditioner from the window while I was making dinner. I was grateful to him for doing that and let him know I appreciated him taking care of that for the family. Enjoy your own feminine nature. Lean into whatever parts of womenhood you love and makes me feel good. You don't have to wear makeup, you don't have to wear high heals, but do what you like as a feminine woman.

"lean on whatever parts of womanhood you love and make you feel good" Couldn't be more apt! I have struggled a lot regarding this topic due to the immense feel failure i always get because of being unable to cope with all parts of femininity I have always had this feeling that I am not feminine enough which often rendered me giving up in despair cause changes were always slow and slight I also thought such attempts to nurture my femininity and watching such material harms me more that it benefits Reaching your conclusion makes everything easier and that is the best thing I really adore in this community...the acceptance and lack of pressure

something that i had to learn was that my man being in his provider energy (in my case) was NOT a slight to my independence. his top love language is definitely acts of service. he loves to CARE for me. he wants to put food on the table & work to pay our bills so I DONT HAVE TO, not because he thinks i cant do it. i started praising him for it, & showing him how proud of him & thankful for him i am, & we are so much happier now.

@@kiera6326 I feel your intentions are kind. Unsolicited advice can be a bit intrusive. It certainly has a place in parenting where guidance is needed. But in the role of wife or friend, it is often received as condescending and dismissive even when given with the best intentions. It has been a hard pill for me to swallow because I placed much of my value if not all in “helping” in this way. Allowing others to choose if they want to hear my advice is a way I honor everyone’s boundaries. I love everything you have to say here. I've been married for 10 years and have 2 kids with 1 on the way. The biggest thing I've learned is to be confident and comfortable with yourself, dress how you like, look how you want to look and naturally you will give off positive energy which will attract your partner. Also, about nurturing masculinity, I've seen so many women who treat their partners like children or a pet- "I can change him, I can train him, he is just clueless etc" this needs to stop. Nurture your husband as a person and the masculine energy will naturally appear. So many people force these things when they appear naturally often

Caitlin, you make femininity sound so nice! I love how you pointed out that not offering advice doesn’t mean you are quiet and powerless, it just means you don’t have to be someone’s manager at the moment… which I didn’t even realize it until you said it but I feel like that ALL THE TIME. 😂 It really does sound freeing to let him be the man and take care of you! Also, I just started taking piano lessons and I’ve noticed that when I spend time practicing because it’s something I enjoy, rather than running around the house trying to get a million things done, my husband seems so much more attracted to me. So working on yourself and your hobbies does seem to work if you want to keep your relationship healthy. Thank you for another great video 💕

Caitlin, yours was one of the first channels I started following 4ish years ago when I first started reconnecting with my femininity. Sometimes I find it hard to believe I was a feminist for a good 10 years. The indoctrination I was put through at college made me lose sight of my true feminine power, my role in relationships as a woman etc. I was always miserable and strong masculine energy in women is obviously going to push men away (actually I'm also put off my masculine women). I went from thinking all men are trash to realising that I'm not harnessing my femininity enough to see the best in a man. Of course society now has created a whole lot of commitment phobia in people where casual relationships seem interesting to people. But I'm standing my ground and not giving into this trend and nurturing my feminine energy in preparation for the man I'm meant to be with. I've never been happier!

The whole idea of allowing yourself to receive is something I had completely lost in my relationship! When I started watching more redpill content which was good to learn what men like, I unintentionally lost some of my femininity mindset because I became obsessed with being traditional! I wanted to prove myself as the perfect traditional woman for him and convinced myself that I ws not doing enough to show how much I loved him or valued him. I lost a bit of my spark and started to believe I didn't deserve gifts from him anymore and that somehow, I had to pay him back for them in similar ways because I felt like I owed him. I even stopped persuing my creative hobbies that he was so enchanted by, I slept very late to make time to talk to him, I panicked of losing him, and I totally I lost my charm, mystery and femininity! 🤣 My dad was the one who pointed it out to me, I have to unlearn some things and this video has been so educational for me. I needed these reminders to learn how to rest in the care of a masculine man. 🥰

I’m so grateful to have this relationship advice series from you. I didn’t have a very good example of a healthy, loving relationship growing up so I’ve struggled a lot in my previous relationships. I’m 25 now and have been with my current partner for 9 months. I knew he was my soulmate from the moment I met him and we were in a relationship one month later. He’s the first man my life that’s been so understanding and accepting of my feminine differences. He embraces my more emotional nature and makes me feel like my feminine, nurturing qualities are of value to him instead of just being annoying. Unfortunately I still had a lot of toxic qualities in the very beginning of our relationship because all my life I’d learnt to react out of fear instead of love. But he never ran away, never got angry never made me feel bad. Instead he just lead by example with how he chose to react to me in those situations and it really opened my eyes to a whole new way of functioning in a relationship. I think that’s when I really fell in love with him and I decided then and there I was going to go on a mission to relearn everything I thought I knew about love and relationships. I’ve been coming to your videos a lot for that and I also started reading the empowered wife. I’ve literally never been happier or felt more secure in a relationship before since I started applying such basic concepts. It really does just come down to finding that empowerment in your own life and the ability to be happy without depending on your partner/husband. When you do that, you hold space for a healthy, functioning, thriving relationship because neither of you are being suffocated anymore. So Thankyou again for these videos for for the book recommendation. It’s been life changing! ❤

Several great points you made! Nurturing ourselves and our hobbies and the feminine energies it produces that radiates within our environment, exploring our styles that make us happy that our husbands loved us about us (I'm single lol), listening to him and thanking him for all he does to provide for you and the family. As said, I'm single but would ultimately like to find "the one." When I'm on a date with a guy, I feel a bit guilty he'd open the door for me or pays for our food at a restaurant because I do things myself to avoid him doing everything for me, because I don't automatically expect him to-- but in doing everything, he'd be confused to why I didn't want anything he's providing, insisting he take care of everything rather than let me pay. Unbeknownst to me, this is the masculine man's way of showing me he wants to make me happy and wants to demonstrate how he's a provider. As such, I thank him for all he does, show my gratitude, always listen even if I don't understand, because I want to show I care. Also too it doesn't take much for me to be happy, ordering a sweet tea or just spending time with him at the park or mall on a date is a huge honor in itself. I'd be classified as a "cheap date" but I'm fine with that lol. I'm still struggling with this to this day but I'm understanding more that this is the man's way of showing his affection for the woman and trust in him to let him take the lead. It's really nice to slip into my femininity and be myself around a man that appreciates and likes that about me and wants to protect and care for me. Vice versa I want my man to know he can fully step into his masculinity around me which I like about him. Thank you for guiding even the singles in the feminine family ☠😭😂 Your channel helps in numerous ways to nurture that feminine energy but in a way that's not preachy and condescending that some other channels I've discovered on this journey typically give off. Also, Lord knows how many times I've seen and heard others categorize these sort of traditional dichotomies as "backwards" and here you are, eloquently breaking misconceptions about society's perception and dare I say demonization of femininity. God bless you and your family, Caitlin, and I pray He continues to help youuuu help others 💜

i relate to feeling guilty when guys do the holding the door thing and paying for the date; I don't think its wrong, it's actually really nice! but idk, I think our culture is used to telling people they have to earn courtesy. In todays world this needs to be talked about a lot. It is not a time machine or old fashioned. It is naturally in women to lean back for men so they can take charge of certain things and then he gets a charge of his masculinity from this. Recently i have had such a hard time with my femininity. I live in Europe and every day we basically get worse news. Our gas prices are skyrocketing and we might not get through winter. I really hoped for a baby this year but now i feel thankful that didnt happen. Thanks for the video 💝 Could you maybe do a video about trying to stay feminine in such hard times?
@MrsMidwest2 жыл бұрын
I would absolutely focus on pampering yourself, working on gratitude, while also being realistic with making plans for your future and safety. I’m so sorry you are experiencing these times!! Also, if you have anyone to lean on, like parents or a boyfriend or husband, talk to them about your concerns. Parents and grandparents, especially European grandparents, have seen such hard times in their lifetime, it can be comforting to know everything will be ok! Xo

I’m high jacking my husband’s account here - I also live in Europe. For me, it has been helpful to consider how vital our role is as wives, mothers, sisters in times of stress. We can bring calm strength to our families. If we get upset and stressed, we place an extra burden on our relationships rather than pour energy into then. Don’t get me wrong - there is absolutely a time and a place for leaning on your close relationships and mutually supporting each other. I just mean that it is encouraging to think that we do have strength to give and that our strength is all the more important during difficult times. We cannot change the crises around us by worrying about them, but we can build up those around us if we focus on keeping calm and exuding peacefulness.

I also live in Europe. But only focussing on bad news, put's your life on hold. You don't want to look back at the end of your life and hold regrets. I think there are so many places where you can focus on the negative, but there is also a lot of positive things to focus on. I had my first child during the corona pandemic. And it was my greatest blessing. Wish you all the best

I’m totally crocheting a scarf while listening to this! ❤ I love all that you said especially about hobbies. Just a few of all my hobbies are knitting/crochet & soap making. It’s so fun! I encourage each of you to find something that you truly enjoy. It makes such a difference. 😊

13:06 I completely agree! I do however, make sure to gravitate towards his favorite colors when buying new clothes or putting together outfits. He *loves* green, and thankfully for me, green is a gorgeous and flattering color on me (plus, it highlights my green eyes) 💚 Love your content, Caitlyn! You have definitely helped me in regards to leveling-up and polishing my femininity 💖

I’m thankful for this!! I was irritated at my husband over something petty and thought “maybe a Mrs Midwest video about relationships can help my attitude” 😂 and here we are! Ladies who are new, I totally recommend her other videos. Her advice is godly if not outright biblical sometimes and has helped me a lot in my marriage

After being single for 6 years I’ve been talking to someone, who I think is my person that God has been preparing me for! This was such an encouragement as a single mom handling everything 😭 all the time, never prioritizing myself 🥺 so thank you for this video it truly blessed me! And say a prayer for Jack & I 🙏🏼 He comes to see me for our 2nd time in 30 days! He truly is the man I have been praying for 💜 hugs from CA!

I prioritized exercise, even after having 4 little ones, for myself, my kids and my spouse. SUPER important to also spend the morning in God's Word with coffee. Takes the focus off myself and my husband and puts in the Almighty God.

I agree with you on most of your point's Being a man? I agree that some guy's are not looking for a relationship or marriage. Hook up culture has taught them sleeping with someone is enough? Just selfish self gratification. My hope is that there are still guy's who are willing to commit to someone who is has more femininity.

you are right about needing to do self care as a high priority as a woman and wife
@Shasta314872 жыл бұрын
Also, a helpful tip as a wife and mom, lead by example and if it bothers you, fix it. Not everyone is going care if there are socks on the ground, but it if bugs you, fix it, and lead by example. You don't need to stress over every hill.

No one puts you in a box Cait! I’ve been following since the beginning on my own journey. I had a homemaking blog I may restart and I always felt that I was trying to answer to other womens ideas of femininity and not my own! Esp as a Christian there can be an idea of rules other women want to push on one another that aren’t what work for me - mostly dress. I love this video - so much of femininity is that attitude that is bright - and that does include having hobbies, interests of your own.

I am single mom that took 3 years to heal from toxic relationship. I had very serious one for nearly 9 years so recently I met a very masculine man, a provider type but I feel like I lack of experience how to behave more feminine around a masculine man. So I am very grateful for this video. Just on type

Whenever i first started dating my husband i thought that I was in my feminine but now after 8 months of marriage i realize that I've been doing a lot of things wrong. I'm now trying to fall back into a more feminine role but it's hard because I was raised in a single parent home and I realize that I don't know what it is to have peace within the home.

Caitlin, I appreciate these videos! I am single and starting fresh with transforming myself into a more feminine woman.
