I'm debating '59s vs '54s 54s seem to be aa little more Bassy which I love! 59's are what S.R.V. used for a long time, then switched to Texas Specials. I love Texas Specials, but I want a different sound than my dad's 2 Strats that both have Texas Specials... So I'm still undecided

So i need to know. a 62 reissue custom, 1 piece pickguard, 3pos switch. so what year, what body wood, neck rad, tone cap.... I have A 96 American Vintage alder body w/ D shape maple neck. it's a little dark. I had fralin wind a custom set and close but still dark. Thinking about these....

I am between these and the 57/62's I like the 59's, Texas Specials and The Tex mex pups - which I put in a Squier. I had the 59's put in Mex Standard Strat. Specials were stock. But I have a Tobacco burst Standard and I am between the 54's and the 57/62's--- can't decide.

CM Kilcullen the 57/62 are harsh / too raspy. I’m now looking at this to replace them.

Nicolás del Castillo have u tried adjusting your pickup height ? I just did that on a fender players strat and it sounds way better - much clearer and bright . Pickup height makes a huge difference ! Especially with the bridge pickups in strats as they can sound too harsh clean . Many like the bridge pickup high for leads

great tone!!!! im sold!!!! altho i have a 1963 gretsch valco 1-12 and 1959 superlead mk ii . . why did u choose the 1959?? . . in the 50s fender didnt use rosewood-they used maple fretboards

Popping CS pickups into a squier helps tons....and of course a proper setup.

Try a full trem block in your squier instead of stock
