I had these but they sounded flat to my ear. I bought the frailens and they seemed much more lively. They weren’t bad, they just didn’t have that edge to them.

This is the best sounding demo of these pickups. Do you set your pickup height as recommended, or do you set them lower? I'm gonna get a set but prefer a mellow tone. Love your demo. Any advice would be so appreciated.
