Big casino is my hands down unequivocal favorite JEW song. I was bummed when they DID NOT play it in Indy last month. Back when I was younger, my favorite line was "All the salt in the world couldn't melt that ice." Now that I am older, it's "There's still some living left when your prime comes and goes." It speaks to me more than I like to admit. Great band. Still going strong. And Jim still looks like a friggin teenager.

At 2:25 you can see the emotion on Jim’s face when he sings that line. I never felt it before I got in my late 30s, but I’m still fighting…that line means so much to me now.

They were never really huge in Europe, they're much bigger in the US. It's like they weren't as edgy (and druggy) as a bunch of other bands that were their contemporaries, they weren't as darkly cool from the start as others. But that's probably the reason they've held up and gotten better over the years (at least it seems so to me). I've said it before and I'll say it again: their songwriting is excellent!

Fun thing: I'm buying that Adkins signature guitar tomorrow!

Fan reaction - Dating myself, they have been my favorite band for 24 years now and I've seen them play live at least 12 times that I can recall. Kudos to Fender for giving such a great band this opportunity and for not forcing them to play the normal hits.
