Sweetpea here in America, we say things in many different ways , with many different accents, it doesn't matter as long as we know what you are saying. Thankyou for the video.

Random question, but is it bonding to stare in your Akita’s eyes, like other dogs? Best way to bond?
@Sarah-gk4zd4 жыл бұрын
NO!! This is intimidating and the dog thinks it is a challenge. If you are not already closely bonded with the dog I would not recommend it. (And even if you are closely bonded, it's still not a great idea.)

I love your channel! I've been following your tips for potty training, I just keep wondering about bed time. Should I wake my Akita to go potty if they're asleep at night or should I just wait until they wake up?
@joswetorres89874 жыл бұрын
Definitely let them sleep, they WILL wake you up and bang on the crate if they’re really close to letting lose in the crate (personal experience). If they whine at all I would take them out just to potty, no walk no sniff only potty and straight back in, theres a different time they can do that. Be firm but lenient, theyll catch on eventually that the night is for sleeping and dawn is time to get up and potty.

@@aurasaweikis7831 dw, asking questions only makes you more prepared, dont be shy to ask more questions and theres a facebook page for akita owners where we share advice!

A lot of these tips are just common sense and rules that go for every dog. They aren't Akita specific. I follow this channel because I want Akita specific tips for things that might be a lot different for this particular breed compared to other breeds. Thus far most of these 'Akita' video's are just generic dog rules..
