Yea in the past we’d get pills from friends or someone here and there. A xan. Maybe a perc. And not even anything crazy, or having addiction. Just some dabbling. Or taking something to ease anxiety if the dr wouldn’t help. This was almost 10 years ago. I can’t imagine if this was going on then. A lot of us probably wouldn’t be here. I’m not a parent but it must just be so frightening to worry about this with your children.

Naloxone is the active ingredient in Narcan and is also available in many generics as a nasal spray. In fact, the brand name Kloxxado delivers a higher dose of naloxone than Narcan (Kloxxado-8mg per dose, Narcan-4mg per dose). Naloxone can reverse an opioid overdose if administered quickly enough. Some areas have Naloxone available in the brand name Narcan or generic versions available for free. It is important to recognize that Naloxone is the drug, Narcan is just a brand name. Whenever someone uses the word "Narcan" in place of "naloxone", they're devaluing all the other equally effective brand options and promoting a specific pharmaceutical company.

My condolences to you all. My twin sister was a 20 year meth addict and alcoholic. In 2007 her heart finally gave out in her sleep. The drugs ravaged her body, destroyed her teeth, and she lived for her next fix. She would call me up to 5 times a day to tell me she loved me and we were still best friends. I offered to pay for her rehab over and over, but she would deny she had a problem. A month before she passed, she called me and told me that she knew she was dying. It was still a huge shock when she passed. Twin sisters have a special bond, and I still hurt and can't understand why she couldn't get clean. I tell my grandkids never to trust anyone who tries to give them or wants to sell them a pill or patch. Again, my heart breaks at the loss all of you have suffered. I wish there were words to help. I’m in California and it’s a huge problem here too. My 33 year old son struggled with disease of addiction for years. Countless rehabs, sober living, etc. His drug of choice was herion. He got off that but turned to meth instead. Cheaper and easier to get I guess. He never touched fentanyl. On January 2, 2002 he was discovered deceased in a park. The meth he smoked was laced with fentanyl.and just like that my baby was gone forever. The people who lace drugs with fentanyl and the people who sell them are murderes. Period. I know I’m part of a club no one’s wants to belong to. Thousands and thousands of parents who have lost their children to the poison that is fentanyl. The pain is relentless. I drive by that park all the time where he died. A park I took him to when he was a little boy. Never did I dream he would die there. To the parents in the documentary keep doing what you’re doing. Tell your stories and I’ll tell mine and maybe together we can help change this crisis or maybe just save one child.

They really need to make a program that can get into locked phones that’s accessible to all law enforcement in suspicious death cases. You would think in 2024 we would have the technological capability to do that.

This is such a sad story. I think a big issue though is normalizing buying pills that are not prescribed to you because you can't sleep or feeling stressed ect..If you buy pills on the street.. God knows what's in them..yes, not enough is being done to stop fentanyl..but it the pills or drugs weren't taken in the first place, then the fentanyl wouldn't be killing all these precious young people. May they rest in peace.

I have stressed to my teen and pre-teen: do not take. TYLENOL from anyone else. Nothing. Nada. If you need Tylenol, you go buy it from the drugstore, open the sealed box / container. And you take NOTHING else. I won’t allow my children to be prescribed ANY narcotic painkiller (for wisdom teeth removal, etc) after watching so many of these videos. Just frightening. Unfortunately I’ve added to my younger one’s anxiety by stressing the dangers of fentanyl to them, but I feel I have no choice.

Incredibly sad story . These poor women ! The grief is extreme . The story of the grandson is just so tragic . Twenty years ago … even ten … this would be unthinkable. There is evidence that many such pills are now contaminated with substances which the consumer does not know they are taking . Ingestion of one pill can be lethal and the last thing a person ever does . Just shocking and action needs to be taken on a government level to combat this

The fact that we find a way to house truly evil people and give them all the comforts they need, some for life, but we turn away people looking for help due to lack of funds, is disgusting. There has to be a better way for everyone to be able to get treatment! This country has not done enough to create awareness of this issue and to give help to those in need. Ladies, I am so sorry for your losses. ❤🙏 I applaud you both for empowering yourselves after your losses so that others may be saved.

I am very sorry for your immeasurable loss and thank you so much for sharing your painful story. I cried along with you the whole time listening. You are speaking to the pain and grief of mine and of many other families. I hope this video and similar ones will be watched by all junior and high school students as well as the general population to prevent the loss of lives to this evil drug perpetrated by evil people.

My condolences. You’re both strong beautiful women and you’re in my prayers. None of this is fair, none of it. It’s stealing the most precious gifts a person can receive and my heart hurts for you and all others that have to deal with this evil. That’s the only word that can describe it. Please stay strong. Keep their memories alive.

To all the people out there...I understand your pain...we all have it in our lives at some time and it's normal to want to find something that can help ease that pain or reduce it even if it's just a little bit to help you relax...but today you have to be extremely aware with what you put into your body to get that reduced stress feeling...because if your wrong even once that reduction in pain will be a eternal one for you and a whole pile left over for your loved ones to have to deal with when your gone..and you wouldn't want that for them

Don’t take pills unless a doctor prescribed them to YOU and you picked them up at a pharmacy in a bottle with your name on it. Period. Full stop. My kids are tired of me telling them this but I don’t care. My mother prayed every day that my sister and I wouldn’t get involved in drugs (which we didn’t - I’ve never even smoked weed) and now I pray the same thing for my two children. All of these videos are heartbreaking.
