I love ginger too! My wife is Filipino, so ginger is a staple spice in her cooking. I've seen fermented garlic honey before, but I don't recall seeing fermented ginger honey. It will be fun to see Boyce's reaction to it. Be blessed Nina and Boyce.

@@RootedInTx i love the new name by the way! We're visiting the state we have in mind this February so that's exciting!! Only for 3 days and most of the first day will consist of a plane flight, driving to the Airbnb and getting settled in for the night 😆 but still,we're looking forward to feeling a true winter for two days haha

Exciting name change! Don't apologize for making memories 🥰 local honey! Nice 😉 We are using more Ginger as well. You don't need a weight inside the jar? Fermenting weight I mean. How do you burb it? Just open it?
@RootedInTx
@RootedInTx Жыл бұрын
Hi Adrian! No weight needed for this process. Maybe a stir daily and burping is just opening the jar lid slowly to allow any gas’s out. We usually don’t tighten up the lid just so it don’t pop open and the contents of the jar has given us and the kitchen a makeover lol
