Hi Fern! It has been so nice to watch the progression of the changes in the apartment. I have been a follower since your early days in the villa, and I loved that house. But it's so fun to see a family like yours in the city and all the possibilities which come with that. The patio looks great already! Plants make such a difference. Hi Fern, I don't find it sad that you enjoy viewing your plants whilst also drinking your coffee, on the contrary, they give you pleasure. I love flowers, and enjoy looking at them whilst drinking my coffee in the morning or with a glass of wine in the evening.

I love my plants too. I am lucky to have a large sunroom where I can put my plants in the winter. Loved your choice of pottery I see more of them next year too because you love them. See you❤❤❤

Fern hydrangeas are my favourite plants too and they are really easy to propogate so you could have made another plant from the one that broke off. My garden is full of them all grown from cuttings, so have a go it's simple. Love the pots, great choice♥️

My grandson has one of those high beds too but in black with steps on the side -they use the underneath for desks/computer area. Hope Nancy likes her new look. Everything is really taking shape. Ryan’s a great sport in helping you at the Pot Shop…👍

Love the pots you chose, Fern! I adore the lemon tree & hydrangeas, too. I am obsessed with a large style confit pot that is partially glazed. Love them but they are SO expensive here in California, buying from France. That 70% off sale would've been a dream! Enjoy your week!

Fern, If a piece of hydrangea breaks off again you can start another plant from it You do need some rooting hormone to do it, but it is so simple to do and you can save a lot of money. I'm sure Amazon sells it. Happy gardening. Oh and the how to are many on YT

That walkway/patio area could really be a real stunner. I picture black rought iron, bistro type string lights up high, a narrow rustic table for 4 set with linens & candles for outdoor dining😊 delightful & easy to accomplish❤

Fern this vlog was so therapeutic for me since I too just find pure delight into beautiful flowers and lush plants. Really like your plant arrangement now and suggest beautiful gravel on edge of flooring under and around your planters but then on opposite side and near and away from your door a gravel area for your fur babies to relieve themselves when they are not out walking. Just a suggestion since not privy to your complete layout. Love you guys from across the Atlantic ❤

I didn’t see holes in the bottom of the pots. Your plants will grow much better if you have Ryan drill several holes in each pot. I know you put rocks in but the lemon tree will grow and be healthier with some drain holes

So funny when you were in the pot shop looking I was saying out loud " fern take the small green pot away".....and you did and when Ryan said "what about this one"? We literally both in unison said "no!" 😂 When he treated the Hydrangea (moneydrangea) like a bag of cement, thats plant abuse that is😮😂... Anyway loved the end result. It looked beautiful and next spring and summer it'll bring you so much joy. You gotta have a little bit of something pretty in amongst all the essential stuff. Was so nice to be along on a Fri-yay! ❤

Ooh Fern ! You picked up some fabulous pots and I love your neutral same toned colour choices. I’m like you in the non rainbow array of pots - to busy on the eye for my liking. I love phaeleonopsis orchid plants - especially the grande flora in white - grouped in three in a big statement pot 😊 Awesome home progress guys 🥰Ooh yes …to black and white floor tiles! How fab will that look with some big green palm plants 🥰Will look awesome!
