I think the ending signifies being "dragged thru the mud" In real life By a lot of "Twilight" Actor Robert Pattinson fans. She's talked about his fans constantly commenting "she wasn't good enough" etc. They ended up breaking up because, he never really addressed it publicly to defend her.

Honestly so sad 😞 ! And just horrible ! Poor woman , so glad she could express it through her music .

The album title is also Magdelene, a reference to Mary Magdelene. Similar to FKA Twigs, Mary Magdelene was a victim to being absolutely smeared by the bible due to a simple miscommunication. FKA, because of the media's expectations and misconceptions, was literally dragged through the mud by the public, hence the people with masks that stare at her covering her body in mud.

The glass heels made me think of Cinderella's glass slippers and its connection to her Prince Charming (her ex). The sound made me think she was walking on fragile glass that could break at any moment. I dunno

Yes ! Makes so much sense !

The sound of the heels also can represent how she is in the company of others yet is still alone as he wouldn't stand up for her.

The dragon is Robert Pattinson. She gave her reputation = heels to him but he didn't reciprocate with what his fans doing things to her. Then, she falls down.

I love your interpretation. At the end, I like to think that the other women are trying to help her heal, as mud can be in some cultures use for healing. If I see Rob Pattinson on the streets, it's on sight😤

I also think the last scene could be like in the womb, a rebirth in a way. The women are there to help her recreate or to heal her pain with covering her body to help her grow.

For me when she looked up Above it was signaling a savior from heaven and all she saw was a savior with her face cause only she can save herself. But she didn’t believe that she could save herself therefore she fell

And with this we learned that Robert Pattison lost a amazing woman.

I think we knew from the moment they went public that she was many levels beyond him. Then, he never defended her ... she is otherworldly and deserves someone who can acknowledge, see and know that...😊

To me it was like she was on top of the world in the beginning....she was alone and lonely but had this perfect public perception. Then we see her climbing as if she is trying to get to heaven, which represented her constant struggle to keep the perfect image and we see her still being watched even when she is closer to the top. Than she gets a look at her reflection and doesn’t like what she sees and to me her pushing the face in with her foot is like the mistake everyone was waiting for her to make to tear her down and send her falling to hell. In the end she says they’re waiting they’re watching, they’re watching us, they’re hating and hoping I’m not enough.....then they literally smear her as if they’re smearing her name. It’s like her relationship with her ex and the public giving her hell.

@@FernStone yes I love her art, every time you watch or listen you catch something you didn’t see before. Have you seen her videos to home with you and sad day? Omg they’re amazing. Home with you I guess is about her trying to please everyone to the point that she neglected herself.

My interpretation: Intro: I believe she opens up to drawn your attention that her life is a stage. Her performance is like the red carpet, or her public eye constantly watching her. Then with suggestive dancing while singing "didn't I do it for you? Why don't I do it for you?" Meaning, she is trying everything to give him what he wants but there is something that always draws him away. Her flexibility, femininity, strength, beauty, etc. cannot please him. Mid: When the sky opens up she reaches for the heavens but then the dragon like being approaches her. To find multiple masks unveiling her own robotic face. I think it's her own reflection of what the media and executives want her to be. A beautiful robotic being with many "faces" and hats that fit in so many boxes. She then pushes the being in the mouth shutting it up and "destroying" it. But it then becomes her and takes her down. As she's falling/fighting the pieces of her fall off and then she's left bare in the dirt. Hits the ground hard, hurt and in pain. Like when we make mistakes and learn from them the hard way. End: Laying in your own pain with nothing but what you started with. I also take it as a rebirth/womb. Once you fall down you must find it in yourself to rebuild. The robotic beings come back and it can either be motherly figures or robots that want her to conform again. Either way I believe they are patching her back together or "healing" her to become one again.

When she's striking that creature, the sound is like ice or something crashing slowly, i think that reflects how she was crashing slowly with the pressure of the social media and all. I just discovered this ARTIST 2 days ago and I cannot process how amazing is this album. I liked your react, don't change!

I've heard quite a lot of her songs , I find it to be really interesting and unique , but I'm not sure how much I love the creepy child-like way she has haha , makes me slightly uncomfortable , especially her creepy videos , I cannot . But her songs like , Soap and Carnival I really love . So I'm sort of not sure !
