10:38 Omggg olive!!! She does not like what’s going on here. 😂😂😂 I caught her before you started to zoom in! I also think that as the begonia grows and faces the light, you can slowly clip the vines to the mesh and remove the twine! ❤❤ great idea! I’ve been toying with the thought of poles without moss. I noticed Melissa doing that with bigger plants like monstera, using the clear poles and strapping the vines inside the it out moss.
@BoojiePanda17 күн бұрын
Oooo Fern, I bet you could set her on one of the Rousseau wooden pole stands, and secure the mesh to the pole. That may add even more sturdiness, and also make it easier to move her around.

Whoa this plant is like a beast. If it ever needs a bigger pot it might be cool to get it one of those metal obelisk trellis where she could be in the center and get supported on all sides. With all her arms it could be a cool look that might be a investment though in supplies. I love the couch pooch overlooking you guys progress lol. 🪴🐕100% a new look for her.

I’m amazed by these difficult humidity loving begonias you are growing in your northwest west coast home! How are you doing it? Are all of them in self watering like the listada? (I’m thinking now of the Paulensis) What are your temps and humidity? Do you have humidifiers everywhere? I’m in the northeast US and it’s getting dry and what few non thriving begonias I have are just existing…barely. And they’re not ones that needs tons of humidity. Please, please, share your secrets!!

Hi Fern, great idea! Just wondering why you don’t cut the mesh straight after a square? Then you’ll only have one side of the mesh to bend over or cut for each piece. If you get it close enough it shouldn’t be too sharp.
