Manny Rocha is a blue belt under Brandon Mccaghren representing 10th Planet Decatur, Alabama. Manny is the only competitor to pull off 'The Sorcerer' in competition on video, not once but 7 times. The Sorcerer is a vicious Rubber Guard submission that requires flexibility and essentially it's double armbar with a reverse full nelson.

My instructor REALLY doesn't like me using Rubber Guard as a White Belt, but I look at those whom I want to be like, and I truck through anyways. I will still take what they have to teach me, and respect it, but they will not hold the admiration that I hold towards people like Eddie Bravo and John Danaher.

If you don’t keep posture on a rubber guard fighter you are going to have some sore shoulders - this is high level stuff but frankly it pivots on the opponent not being able to keep posture or inversely, keep a lock on the half guard and do not allow full guard to develop. If someone loves rubber guard, don’t lay in their full guard, just like circle left on left hand fighters.

Been watching him for years Manny "the roach" He's is really amazing but you don't really want fight him from the guard. You best mount ... But once he is in guar you will never figure out which is leg and arm and never get out He has excellent control too no one has lose a head I don't you understand he don't put pressure unless you make him and is a bad idea you know that double arm bar hurts and not I put the pressure on your head This is like the only move with no escape too. Once it's started need the guy ti mess up All traps ... Like posture up .... yea it's your only hope.. no you need lift your shoulder not your butt ... Then when he have your arms let's you posture and gogplatta. Have no choice block with arm and then Doble arm bar. And he pulls his legs over and sorcerer

Never train bjj and then think you could use it in a fight. You'll think you're a badass until someone kicks you on the head or balls or something like that, cause you wouldn't be ready for it after training only grappling.
