ONLY SUPPLY POWER TO SOLENOIDS FOR LESS THAN 1 SECOND! YOU WILL OVER HEAT AND DESTROY IF YOU LEAVE THEM ON!
This should only be attempted by a qualified master tech with electrical specialist training! Attempt at your own risk.
Make sure DCT fluid level is at correct fill before testing.
This is the pin out and procedure to test the SAP panel. If experiencing faults relating to shift panel (SAP) or shift rods, perform this procedure before removing the gear box to diagnose the fault. Most of the time it's a leak in the SAP or a stuck solenoid, but it can also be low dct, damaged wires or crimps, or a position sensor fault.

We got P192B on Ferrari FF, it shifts fine, recently rebuilt. Code says APP_SELECTOR_POS, too low (gearbox section selector, too low). Will adaptation help?

Hi Mike have you ever encountered a CEL on the 750 box which was caused by a voltage regulator issue that gave unstable voltage from time to time which triggered the CEL?

I have seen low voltage faults. I have seen the control module fail sending incorrect voltage to the sensors. I have not seen a car's charging system fail and cause only gearbox faults. If you are having gear box faults alone, you need to check supply voltage to the position sensors and pressure sensors when at operating temp. Some crimps and wiring damage happened often or early cars inside of the gear box. Pressure sensors fail often, so if you're dropping voltage there, I would assume it's a bad sensor.

@@HollywoodMechanic When we first i"fixed" the gbox and then got another system warning. Then brand new gbox in exasperation. Then ESP failure, oil control failure, radiator temp to 130c and maybe an airbag fault. 4 entirely separate systems but triggered when I floored it for ESP etc. The temp would then drop by 5 degrees every few seconds, I guess the programming responsible but ESP wouldn't clear ie critical safety wouldnt right. Except when Ishut the car down then good to go immedtiately. The v regulatory is down stream from being caught by charging system errors.
