10:00 I think fears like arachnophobia (and the fear of other insects for that matter) was a survival technique for our ancestors. Since most spiders are venomous, although most do not pose a threat to humans, a fear of spiders may have made humans more likely to survive and reproduce.

I love both of these channels. My record for ferrets is 4 at once. Beatrix, Miles, Lemmy and Frehley. It was really hard but worth it. I always loved the morning brawl...they would get up, go straight to the kitchen for their treats, and then all four would brawl all over the place until they needed a snooze. And almost every time, I'd get pulled into it.

@@Emzotic What happened was I had 2 with my ex wife, and when I moved out, I got two more. I got a call about two weeks later saying that I needed to take the first two or they'd go to the Humane Society. So I took them all on. They were coming with me no matter what. I'm glad they all got along-it was hard but worth it.

Love it! Special Bonus Weasles episode! I used to have ferrets, years ago. I'd adopted them from my siblings- when they'd moved, their new apartments didn't permit ferrets. "Joy" is absolutely the best way of describing them. One in particular, Cissney, was very aggressive toward ferrets she didn't know, so we'd keep her caged while the others would play with the visitors. She did really well with humans and other animals though. I miss them so much!

To be honest, I'm pretty sure the fear comes from innate instincts just buried I'm us that are never challenged in modern society (or in privileged households when it comes to third world areas I suppose) because we don't need to see them as food or anything. Arachnophobia exists for a reason in particular.

@@CrowCoded not really, I'm fairly poor and I used to be severely afraid of bugs despite seeing them almost every day.

@@TuberoseKisser I don't see how that's a 'not really.' You never had to eat them or challenge that instinct, so you had a fear of them. I have a fear of some bugs irrationally even though a lot I can recognize to not be harmful whatsoever, and yet, they make me flinch or shy shy if they come near.

@@CrowCoded I feel like if anything you would be even more scared of Spiders, Snakes, etc. Not all spiders are safe, there are a ton that are venomous and can kill you. If you’re out in the wilderness, there really isn’t a hospital and there is no room to make mistakes. So if anything you would probably be trying to avoid them instead of eating them. There are a million other things to eat especially in the wilderness, so why take the risk?

My ferrets been thru alot he had something wrong with him so we took him in to a special vet and we waited like 7 hrs and he started to eat aging and ya he got chunky fast

Everything they had at UC Davis craft center and some athletic like wood, metal, and glass shop. With all my tools back and Dysob vacuum and steam wet mop and library/study. Outdoor gear too and full out kitchen. Some of us used all of our extra funds for life not partying. And all our instruments replaced with brand new ones including my Daisy Rock guitar, violin, and Daniel@/ keyboard. Also, new computers and electronics. They went after it all.

When I had ferrets I had two males and a female, and the female was absolutely the boss. She was tiny, but full of attitude. Unfortunately, that attitude was a problem. After I got her desexed and she was separated for two weeks to recover, she came back very bitey. She was fine with me and the other ferrets, but anyone else would get bitten. Not savagely bitten, she didn't break skin or anything, but it was an 'I don't want to be around you' bite. I never managed to train her out of it, she decided that this was who she was now. We worked around it where we could though, and I made sure the little rascal still lived an amazing life. ^_^
