It's always nice that the hosts are those directly involved in designing/etcetera a machine as in this introduction and review. However it would have been real nice if they (or anyone else) would have addressed (1) ease (or lack of ?) routine maintenance, (greasing, change of fluids and belts, adjustments; (2) what were the reasons Ferris decided to go with a belt drive to the cutting deck, as opposed to a shaft drive--is belt drive in this application a weak link/less reliable, and how many hours is a belt expected to last when mowing in the conditions and at the speed the suspension and engine were designed for?; (3) while most of the machine has a 4 year factory warranty, why does the Cat engine only have 2 years despite it's supposed longevity of 8000 hours? Despite these concerns, I still have no doubt it's the most capable zero-turn mower made today.

Expensive? Without question. No other mower on the planet comes close to the quality, ride, cut quality, cut speed, ease of operation, run time, hell, every metric used to determine value it has no equals.
