Respect for Feyisa Lilesa for his heroism! Best moment from Rio De Jenero Olympics, 2016. Respect for Feyisa Lilesa, Ethiopian Olympic Sliver medal winner in Men's Marathon. If the 42.195 kilometres (26.219 miles, or 25 miles 385 yards) didn't kill you the Ethiopian government, TPLF can't kill you. Nothing stops Feyisa Lilesa from speaking out! #Hero #Olympics #Rio2016 #Marathon #Ethiopia #FeyisaLilesa #Ethiopiaprotests

Damn, at least speak a tiny bit slower and more clearly, so a person with a limited command of English has a chaaaance to get what you're saying. Props to him for doing a great job, both in the marathon and after.

You would think he would have learned that lesson at Journalism 101 class. Yissh.... I swear sometimes, I think Americans, we just give ourselves because we have never experienced other peoples or have no reason to do so at all. I highly doubt this is the case with Europeans.
@PaDutchRunner8 жыл бұрын
I was thinking the same thing. It wasn't just how rapidly he was speaking; it was his extremely lazy/indolent phraseology, and his weak attempts to be more clear when asked.

Millions and Millions of Ethiopians are Proud of Feyisa Lilesa. He spoke for the Ethiopian mass. Today the Oromo and the Amhara young people are facing state terrorism, massive human rights violations, mass Killig and tortures. What we have witnessed is finally the TPLF led minority government's total domination is being confronted and challenged. Their doomsday is coming fast as they'll persist Ethiopia belongs only to them and anyone who oppose their domination has no place in that country.
@solomon53768 жыл бұрын
I am ashamed to see TPLF like Tesfay Alemu making comments on this thread. Lelisa is the voice for voiceless millions of people in ethiopia not only representing the Oromo people but the oppressed by tyrant Wayne regime coming from barren land Mekelle.

Feyisa has shared his victory with the oppressed Ethiopians. He crossed his arms like the Ethiopians do when they demonstrate against tplf regime in silence. Tplf soldiers shoot and kill demonstrators though they are doing the demonstrations peacefully. People go demonstration without permission because the government outlawed demonstrations. And just because it declares 100% victory so there would be no opposition demonstration. But Feyisa raised his arms crossed above his head. The Ethiopian way of opposing peacefully. Both hands in the air. If there are some one who throw stone then they are tplfs who sabotage the demonstration to kill innocent civilians.

I was hopping Almaz Ayana will use the opportunity to raise our flag not TPLF's . you are brave!!! Considering the kind of education that is given by the dictator TPLF , your English is very good. We feel the pain and suffering of our brothers and sisters and we will not rest until we all are free again. We Ethiopians are not asking for our freedom any more. We are demanding it! Members of TPLF must be removed from power and brought to justice. TPLF is begging for a break from all the protest that is taking place all over Ethiopia In order to get time to organize and continue killing us. But my fellow Ethiopians We have to continue the struggle from inside Ethiopia and abroad . Believe it or not We are not far from Victory!

Yes he always brave!!! And in Ethiopia culture, especially in Oromo culture you can't brag about what you did instead you do what you have to do to earn that status. So for him, he just shared the feeling of millions of other Oromos. He runs for a country that can jail him because of his name without no reason and why he wouldn't be fearless when he doesn't have any respect or hope.....???

Ethio Weddy i don,t think so . the IQ test was carried in various colleges/universities in London on a students who came from d/t countries .after they had been tested ..the result was disappointing especially for ethiopia . i am 100 percent sure, most of the students who had been engaged in the study or representing Ethiopia were either from Amhara or Oromo ethnic. because they are majority in ethiopia.
