love the chilled ride video and vibe, thanks - that Taff trail looks like it might be worth a visit, cheers

Thanks. It's quite a nice place to ride. Probably best for a dry day unless you don't mind getting muddy. If you're looking at the Taff Trail itself rather than specifically Fforest Fawr then it runs from Cardiff Bay all the way through the mountains up to Brecon so plenty of different landscapes.

@@MadisonTen cheers, I think getting the train to cardif and setting out from there up into the Brecons could be a nice mission next year! nice one posting this vid and for the possible inspiration!! ;)

Beautiful scenery as usual! We're going to be in the UK/Ireland this fall but unfortunately we don't have enough time for England or Wales. We only had one day left and knew it wouldn't do justice to such a beautiful part of the world so we'll planning on making a special trip back to gives Wales the attention it deserves! - Andrew, Candice, and Riley 🐾

I don’t blame you. Never worth trying to cram a trip in to such a small amount of time. You’d probably end up travelling more than exploring. Enjoy your visit in the autumn!

You can go a much nicer and scenic way avoiding the busy roads with all those fast cars by using the bridge over the main road and going via pound farm lane.

Oh thanks. Is that where the big concrete blocks are to stop traffic on the old lane? I might have gone that way on the way back. I can’t remember.

How would I plan my route and find the way
@MadisonTen9 ай бұрын
There are a number of ways. You could Get a GPS route computer for your handle bars that will tell you as you go. Or you can use something like Google Maps on your mobile phone to plan a route and switch it to Cycle, which will take you the most cycle friendly route but it’s worth studying the recommendation to make sure it’s not taking you on roads that you wouldn’t normally like to cycle on. Some people use Kamoot.com, not something I’ve tried. Another option is just a paper/book map and follow cycle route signs. It depends where you’re going and where from. Also worth looking at the Sustrans website that have all the cycle trails they’ve developed.
