If you wanted an authentic version of a "cheated victory" of Shinryu you could've done the doom strategy and just had him attack 255 turns in a row, can't glitch counter attack if you never attack him.

There's also the auto life overdrive mix for Rikku doing that instead of trio of 999 would make the multihit move survivable so you'd only need shinryu to not use eraser

You have to get through 255 turns without it ever using eraser, I don't see that happening

Pretty sure it's possible to win Nemesis with combination of Magus Sisters and Single controlable Aeon with 99999 HP (I think you built this for Dark Anima's Oblivion tank). Ultra Spark can be shielded for normal Aeons. Cindy needs more max HP for survival. If you can't count for Armageddon just have the Aeon you use die for it and switch for another Aeons.

If you use the doom item with rikku and constantly use her overdrive that gives auto life wouldn't that be a feesible way to beat him? You wouldn't have to worry about the party wipe move only need to stop eraser from being used that should up the odds a bit, no?

He is fast, going for 255 turns without him having use Shining twice, that's not going to happen, I think

I can't remember how auto life affects the move order as opposed to Phoenix downs if I had access to a NSG save here I can do some testing on my end I figure the odds of him not using that move twice in a row is a lot more feasible than him only using regular attacks

Seeing Riku on the move order in this video she does seem to be fast enough to get enough moves in with the right luck

The odds of him not using eraser more than twice over the course of 255 turns (a very generous version that ignores shining as being a problem and the fact that 2 uses of erasure would be deadly for 99.5% of the fight) is about 1 in 5000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000 and no that is not a made up estimate that is the actual number
