Little note about floor 30 boss: the damage drop off from his knock up is really generous. You can basically be max melee and take very little damage. If you're right on him though, it'll do a decent chunk of damage. So if you're soloing as a melee, you can just tank him near the edge and near a cloud instead of the center.

I’ve seen a couple videos where AST is ran as healer. Will WHM do as well? What’s the preferred team comp for these runs? I’ve definitely seen RDM and SMN as dps whole tank varies with either PLD/WAR. Thanks guys.

Something I've noticed with Kenko, but if you're Mini when he casts Ululation, you'll die. I don't know if it's a pattern, but I've often seen him target someone with Hound out of Hell, but cast Ululation beforehand. I've seen people die to that bait a lot.

Eh alot of the "enrgae" attacks are stunnable, Notherlies from teh Yetis for example can be silenced, just remeber to bring Silence and Stuns (and Pacifys if your PLD) the WHMs on Floor91-99 can also cast Cure II on top of Stoneskin, I'd note a lot of other missing inofrmation but thats what a doc is for xD

Whenever I try to go beyond floor 30, it says it has been completed and I cannot go further. How do I bypass this? I have finished the quest after beating Hiruko.

Are you doing fixed party or matched? I think you can only go beyond floor 30 in fixed parties.

So, a quick question. Do you have to get floor 100 in PoTd in order to go higher? I can't seem to get past 30. I know that a group is required but clearly it can be soloed but I can't seem to queue for it.

Do the level 30 quest and you MUST enter with a fixed party to get passed 30

You can solo fine without any sort of pre-requisite, just enter floors 1 or 21 as a solo-fixed party and work your way up.

Needs to be solo or a fixed pre-made party. If you're wanting to do matched, that's not possible after 30 from my understanding.

Honestly though, if you've already watched all the way to floor 99... I don't think you're the kind of person who cares about what's SPECIFICALLY on floor 100. And even if you ARE that kind of person, maybe stop watching toward the end, when he talks about making it through all the mobs and all the traps?

entered floor 1, got hit by shark, dead. entered again, got 1st mob to 50% hp and died to dmg. yup seems legit ez story content. Tried to use the Que, gave up after 45 min

I've ran Potd/HoH at least 1000+ times, never once have I gotten a 45 min q or died on the first floor, you clearly don't know what you're doing so don't blame the game. Well actually, if you go beyond (I forgot what floors they are)the checkpoint floors for farming exp you can get pretty long Q times, this only applies for Potd though.
