Oh my goodness!!! I forgot to talk about the upcoming Plushies and the Fashion Menu (though I'm not 100% they will be in the initial 5.3 patch)! FFXIV will also be adding the ability to carry around Plushies and other items via the Fashion Menu! The Fashion Menu will also house your umbrella collection so be sure to give it a look!

While plushies aren't really my aesthetic, I think it will be super cute to see them other people and I'll be glad to have them in my game! What I am excited about is the possibilities it opens up for props and character customization as other fashion accessories. Like having a smoking pipe, or reading a book, stuff like that!

@@EverydayEorzean Ah for sure, the possibilities are endless! Sky really is the limit now, as they are treated in the same way as mounts seemingly, and mounts can have special actions soooo...maybe actually smoking the pipe then holding it aside, or drinking from a wine glass, flipping pages in a book...or hugging the big ol' plush! Excuse me while I squee.

I wasn't particularly looking forward to flying as I always feels it takes away from the world, but am now quite excited, especially as it seems the flight area will give you more freedom than I thought. Aside from gpose improvements, things that make me happiest QoL wise are the crafting calculator so you don't make too many or too little materials if wanting X amount of an item. My maths tends to be bad, so I end up always costing myself too much Gil or time fixing my mistakes. The party finder changes, especially being able to join a party while in a party, are fantastic. Is something I always wanted but kind of thought an impossible dream. Glad to see I was wrong in that instance. Am looking forward to retrying ARR in New Game+ now if only someday they would get the current English voice actors to redub it so folks aren't having it suddenly change on them part way through!

I completely forgot about the voice changes! It's been forever since I've heard the old ones, but you're right! I can imagine it's a little jarring if you're doing then one after another and not having to wait for patch cycles.
