Heh, it was more luck than judgement that I found this soon after being put up on KZbin, but this is my favourite FF14 lore channel.

It’s cool revisiting these old places a lot of players might not have revisited since ARR. I hope we might come back to it eventually in the current story.

Honestly some of the earliest dungeons have the deepest lore. It's a shame all that knowledge is skipped in favor of "speed running" the content.

Prof. Scribe, I would just like to thank you for making these videos. Thank you for bringing the world of ffxiv to life and doing it well. Most of all, thank you for giving us lore nerds a brief respite from the absolute INSANITY that is our world right now. It is an absolute joy to just forget about the chaos, anxieties, and constant stream of bad news going on and just get lost in the world of XIV for 10-15 minutes. Thank you sir.

You're very welcome! No matter what, I'll always try to put out more lore for you all. I like to their I'm your personal scholar whilst most other FFXIV players wait to see if Asher to starts making videos again. hehe

These are the kinds of channels I love to binge. You have a great voice and pace for storytelling. Very easy to listen to. Keep up the good work.

I've got to admit that I find this channel very helpful explaining the lore of FF14 in so many ways. I especially appreciate that you give us very specific spoiler content warnings at the start of each video, telling us what's about to get spoiled. As someone who is only a Lvl 66 Smn, Sch and Whm in the early missions of Stormblood I really don't want spoilers for what's to come either deeper into Stormblood, Shadowbringers or Endwalker. Despite my best efforts I have accidentally stumbled across a handful of spoilers but I don't think they'll damage the experience too much as most are fairly minor. As for exactly where I am in Stormblood, I've literally just been "introduced" to a fellow named Zenos via cutscene in the Ala Mhigan palace after smacking around some Imperials and their Magitek toys. I'm not quite sure what to make of him really. I understood Nero and Gaius' motivations back in ARR. I even understood Livia and was particularly satisfied kicking her butt. But Zenos.... not sure yet. I'm getting the impression he might be one of those. "Some men just want to watch the world burn." Types. We'll see.

Praise the Nobbel of FFXIV! So surprised there are hardly any channels that cover similar subject matter. You definitely deserve more subs. Glad I found you

Thank you very much! I really do hope I can reach more players in the future. There's so much lore we can all enjoy together.

I hope everything that is going on in your life works out for you and that you don't have to be as stressed. Thank you for another interesting video. I am a huge fan of both lore and speculation. The more lore I know the more critically I can think about the plot and how impactful things are, so I appreciate the work you do. ^_^

I hate first time Halatali because of that ONE fight with the water. It's such a pain. But the second time around is amazing. I ran it by myself (unsynced) as a paladin and it was a blast. Really felt like a larger than life Warrior of Light who started off as a gladiator getting to flex how powerful he'd become.

Yeah all the immunity phases in that dungeon kinda suck but it’s mostly pretty fun

You know what would be cool? If they used Halatali, the way it is now as a compat training facility, and reworked it as some sort of real player trainingsground, beyond the Stone-Sky-Sea dummies. A secure solo dungeon space, where players can learn and practice their jobs, about rotations, proccs, weaving and the like.
