goddamn, this 24 man was epic, that third boss in particular is outstanding. We just BARELY cleared before running out of time. 1 shot the first boss, 3 wipes on the second.....8ish on the third and 2 on the last. Hard but intuitive, we were always progressing, seeing a mechanic once was usually enough to learn it without needing anybody to look things up or tell us what to do.

So the first boss is Mustado referencing Mustado Bunansa from Final Fantasy Tactics who is a Machinist. One of Ramza's allies. The 2nd boss here is Agrias Oaks. Bodyguard to the princess Ovelia. Cidolfus Orlandeau who is a really good holy swordsman and respectful leader who has the epithet of Thunder God Cid, and Ultima's form being a fusion of the Esper form from XII and the 2nd form of Ultima from Tactics..my goodness these are all great fights. Also I noticed when she summons her demon minions with Demon Virgo. Their actually Ultima the High Seraph in her first form from Tactics. Which that's very cool.

also, note how many lines durings attacks from the boss are actual quotes that appeared sometimes when using an ability in FFTactics PS version, I dont know why they remove them from later releases. And the theatre scene at the end, thoses lines are those of the opening of FFtactics too :D

@BlerdOtaku It's Altima that's the translation error. Every appearance of her since Tactics' initial release has had her name as Ultima, including the rerelease of Tactics on the PSP, which came with an updated translation.

Immediately went to get this raid unlocked and cleared after work yesterday. The entirety of the dungeon was just jaw-dropping gorgeous to look at. And the boss fights, my goodness, the boss fights were just...so much fun, so much darn good fun. I really loved having all the bosses be voiced, since in Tactics before skills and spells were used, there was always incantations. And seeing them here is just stunning, this made a wonderful end to the Ivalice storyline and I can only imagine what Shadowbringers will bring to the table.

I recently had a run of this that made me feel so damn good as a RDM main. We were just prior to Ultima's "Ruination" phase (specifically, when Mustadio, Agrias, and Thunder God were only just starting to show up to protect us) and while Alliance B & C were mostly fine (only one or two of them were down per Alliance), Alliance A (my Alliance) was down 6 people, including our Tank and both Healers, with only me and a Bard as the survivors. I was able to get 5 of them (our Ninja was the only one I wasn't able to get back on their feet in time) back on their feet before Ruination began. And as Ultima was almost dead I saw people in my Alliance saying in party chat saying stuff like *"Red Mage is best job."* and *"I think you mean rez mage."* ....and as my Alliance's only Red Mage it made me feel so damn good to realize that everyone was directing all of that praise towards *me* and I even got a whopping 5 Player Commendations (more than I've ever gotten before, even in other Alliance Raids) for it! :D

Raid itself is definitely the best in the game right now, but you know, instead of thanking the boss for 'giving you time to get MP back' while you stare at the floor, you COULD actually enjoy the show (and let your viewers enjoy it as well). 90% of this video seems to be an in depth analysis of what the ground looks like, or cuts out all the action by having everything facing downward so that you can rarely even see the boss or what they're doing - might be a preference but find it really strange, especially for a first-time run where most people would be soaking in all the new details. Not flaming or anything - just... When you come here to see how people reacted to the likes of TG-Cid (and they completely ignore his transitional animations with the camera facing down where nothing is happening), it kinda ruins those moments, especially for a viewer who may not have seen it. Just some feedback.

Ah it hurts, I would have thought Mr Happy would have learned about always using Celestial Opposition directly following lucid dreaming by now :c I think we tell him every time he plays astro but he no listen Edit: He knows about it, he just doesn't trust us at all. Wants to be Pro and use it to extend raid buffs only The thing is! You get raid buffs all the time. Extend lucid dreaming and make sure to use raid buffs right before or after lucid dreaming, along with lightspeed and then extend all that shit. Especially in new content where you need all the MP you can get when you can rez people over and over just to faceroll through the content
