I love the little touches they put in, like Blaz giving an eastern bow since he was raised in Doma in contrast to the others

seeing these small lore Dossier make's me want them for the entire game as well

I'm so glad that you decided to put this content up on KZbin because I just can't get through this Bozja stuff myself but I absolutely LOVE the lore. I've tried several times but I just don't have the time or really the motivation to grind out encounters in this sort of content. Never the less I am absolutely FASCINATED by the lore presented here and the fact that this is a continuation of the Ivalice raids that really helps to tie a great deal of the game together is amazing. I also have a new appreciation for Fem Roes as I've never messed with them personally as they have very mannish movements and mannerisms similar to Highlander Hyurs but Gundhildr was really smokin' hot so I'm curious if the look can be re-created in game.

most likely yes, out of the 4 faces misija and gunnhilder use the only good one (4th I think? it's easy to tell).

The fact that they chose to make this Queen Gunhildr a femroe says to me that they are either 100% not making female hrothgar in 6.0 or they are and just want to tease us
@Vamp67763 жыл бұрын
They said when they released the races they are done making new races and making a second gender is the same work load as making a new race, we have known we aren't getting female Hrothgar for the entire time Hrothgar were a thing.
@lrek76613 жыл бұрын
I believe it's still a teasing, just like at 4.x we knew *ivalice* happening but we only seen Viera (Fran's Appereance) at 4.5 So I guess just wait and see if 5.55 going to gave us a Fem Hroth and also Male Viera?
@jaeusa1603 жыл бұрын
Nah, it is 100% a copout way to avoid making a Fem Ronso in 14.
@kaihedgie17473 жыл бұрын
@@Vamp6776 They never actually ruled out the possibility of making a female Hrothgar or a male Viera. What they simply said was that the Hrothgar and Viera were going to be the last races added to the game. They simply genderlocked the races for the time being because of the work it takes to make a new race and having to individually resize every piece of clothing for them. Making the last Gunhildr a female Roe actually feels more like a callback to A Realm Reborn where Yugiri was actually a Miqo'te under her hood. I'm not even joking about that either because datamining for ARR at the time when HW was being developed showed a model of a Miqo'te head with Yugiri's then unknown hairstyle and in some scenes, you could see the "horns" underneath her hood flap about in the same way a Miqo'te would. It's entirely possible that the female Hrothgar, should they be added, are going to be loosely based off of the female Roegadyn as a reference point. Really, they've been hinting more at fem Hrothgar being a thing since this expansion began. The Gunbreaker job itself is literally tied to the queens of Bozja as are the Hellion clan themselves, Magnus had an unseen wife and this entire relic weapon questline is based on the queens' old guard and a mural shows that the last queen was surrounded by tall cat-like females. Gunhildr's own note section even mentions that most Bozjan queens were female Hrothgar and her yet to be seen true primal form has cat-like eyes. That's far too many hint drops to be more than a mere tease.

@@kaihedgie1747 Also, there's a quest that directly references male Viera, he just vanishes before you get there to see him.

"Edit down to 2 episodes" Cmon Ethys, we know Ronsos and Roes are too meaty for that! I have no idea what they're gonna do with all this since it is side content. It will definitely need to be "time bubbled" since instability in Garlemald will only last for so long before it falls apart, gets reborn, etc. Castrum and Gunnhildr are tied behind too much of a grind for this to become MSQ. But there's SO much here that feels borderline or even potentially MSQ. I guess they could always remove the Resistance Rank requirements on the quests and maybe make a solo duty version of the Castrum Lacus scenes. And we haven't even touched back on the Dalamud and Project Meteor bits from the first part.

I am... SO much more interested in this story than I was in Eureka's, and I feel like that's had a decent effect in getting me to play through Bozja. By the time I got to Baldesion Arsenal, I really could not care less about the story... Not the case here. I was raring to head into Castrum just to see how the story would unfold.

@21:14 haha oh man, the schadenfreude put a big grin on my face. Thanks for making these! I don't want to commit to a time sink like Eureka was with how busy life has been lately. But, I'm getting the story goodness thanks to you!
@klopfer140003 жыл бұрын
Just doing the story isn't too much of grind. Or lets say, it depends on your definiton of grind :P I, for example, got to rank 10 (where the last bit of story cutscene happens) over the course of one week where i played roughly around 1 to 2 hours a day, and additionally you can level up any lvl70+ job while doing it. But if you are speaking of the "codex/lore book thingy-collectables" then i guess that could turn out to be quite a grind to get all of them.

All this mention of Dalmasca. I know people are assuming the next steps are Bozjan Northern/Western/Eastern Front, but I really think we're pushing towards a Dalmascan *ern Front instead.

I find it ironic, in a horrible kind of way, that someone who can't let go of the past ( not even the recent past, the _ancient past_ ) could possibly have gained the Resonant power with a connection to the future...

Sucks I'll never get to experience this storyline because I have since launch refused to grind out relic weapons.

But they give you one for free and the story in Bozja itself isnt connected to the relics though
@RockR2773 жыл бұрын
All you have to do is finish Ivalice raids, do a quest to get 1 weapon for free, then you have access to all of this. You're not obligated or required to do anything more with the weapon.

Who's worse in not letting go of things? Tiamat with her self loathing and grief. Or Misija and her loathing of what happened to her ancestor?
@GhostWulf707923 жыл бұрын
Tiamat, she truly blames herself for the summoning of Bahamut and the and 4th Great Calamity that happened several millennia ago. Misija is just a woman who doesn't want a corrupt kingdom come back into power. She believes that Gabrabth's vision of a kingdom is far better than the Bozjan rebels.
@tazersmurf46893 жыл бұрын
@@GhostWulf70792 then she's dumb and didn't do her homework about how the Empire works. Sure Noah is finally breaking from the Empire and has chosen to try and make one on his own. Except he's trying to do that with the Empire's resources. She also at least for now doesn't see that she's just being used. I mean if she's as smart as she's supposed to be then she should see that when she was dismissed.
@GhostWulf707923 жыл бұрын
@@tazersmurf4689 I think she knows but you forget that she now owns a primal and can easily temper high ranking Garlean Officials if need be. If Gabranth steps out of line. She can easily turn the Queen's Blades and some of his own army and officials against him. She herself can become queen and create her own version of Bozja/4th Legion Gabranth Empire. This is why primals are feared.
@tazersmurf46893 жыл бұрын
@@GhostWulf70792 maybe. Though if she does think that then she's delusional in thinking that she can defeat the WoL who defeats primals for breakfast.
@tazersmurf46893 жыл бұрын
@M. Woller terrorists sure, because taking over people who didn't bully you totally wanted you to encroach into their territory. Garelans treat most non garleans like they're 2nd class citizens. Always looking down at them. Heck look at Nero he's a full born Garlean who got ignored by many just because he was from the country side. He only got any type if recognition after he helped Cid save his dad. Even then Giaus didn't look at him as someone to bring on until Cid defected. Sure they might educate people, but they still treat outsiders and lowcast/poor people like crap and cannon fodder. Look at Fordola she worked hard to get to where she was under Giaus and probably had an easier time of it vs under Zenos where she most likely worked at least twice as hard as her full-blooded garlean counter parts. It wasn't until she willingly shot at her own men did she get any recognition from Zenos as being worthy enough.
