The fact that simply exploring more "negative" topics that may seem confronting, made me out to be broken or troubled, it... well it made me regret showing my creations to anyone. If my work was going to be equated to that of my mental state, why share it? Isn't the point of writing to express an idea? Your style of reading dialogue and commentary on the storylines is just wonderful! If you don't play anymore, well, that's that. I'm watching these videos to refresh my memory on the summoner storyline and I'm absolutely loving them, the way you read the dialogue is fantastic and I love your commentary xD Thank you for recording these! Also it really throws into sharp contrast the SMN changes over the years... I played the job back then as well and I vaguely remember it being like this and am aware that it's quite different, but it's something else to see it all laid out like this.

I wish there was a way to experience this story.

Spoiler Warning for those who have not finished Shadowbringers and Endwalker. Unukalhai was saved by Elidibus in the 13th world where he lived in the Source for years. If you complete the ShB job class quests, it is revealed that Cylva was also a survivor of the 13th. The epilogue quests has both Unukalhai and Cylva learning to restore the 13th to its original form in the 1st. After learning that and what is going on in Endwalker, they could have more significant roles in the next expansion.

wow i needed this, this video should play at the beginning of ARR for all new players! Honestly i knew nothing of what was mentioned here and most of the info i consider essential especially about the characters. Im a new player, just finished ARR, took my time with the story read and watch everything in game and still i didnt learn anything about most of the info mentioned here! Hell i didnt even know the world was called Hydaelyn, i only know it as crystal (character?). I feel like im missing key info on the world that im in and the main characters that i interact with. Did all of this info come from the msq of 1.0 alone? Idk maybe its the way that the story is presented here, in this condense format with narration and easy to understand explanations but i liked this story more that the ARR story that i just experienced in game.

is this spoiler free for new players?

Honestly, 7 years later and I don't think we've had a raid series quite as epic. Eden came quite close, but the expedition to discover the truth of Bahamut and what happened during the final moments at Carteneau was something unique.
