I just think its misleading to suggest someone roll for a servant at the caveat that they NEED to be beyond NP1. That really should be a point of concession because a lot of people look to guides and reviews to plan F2P rolls. Which unless youre blessed by the gacha gods, is unlikely to give more than an NP 1 copy a lot of the time.

@@mispelledtempest gonna speak selfishly, when I saw her for the first time, I was awestruck by how beautiful she is. I started learning more about her from the tsukihime remake and tsukihime manga, her story really made me admire her, it went on to the point my urge to roll for other servants kept on decreasing. Meanwhile I started saving for her banner in 2023, rolled the servants suitable for her farming/dpsing lineups.. Then I realized 'L'asengle devs has.. 1) Added her in one of the worst classes 2) Gave her a not so interesting skillset 3) Double vitch oberon 3t farming incompatibility (due to her 7 turn cd on her battery) 4)...literally made her mid despite she being a 7th anniversary servant, skills focused primarily for np looping. Despite all of this, I will spend all my free sq savings on her banner (+cope) to see her at her peak servant potential; because she's one of the main reasons I'm motivated to keep on being productive in this game.

A big problem is that if you have bad luck during this banner and end with only 1 copy of Arcueid you need to wait 2 fucking years for make her stronger, in almost 9 years of this game its never happened that a anniversary unit have not received a banner for so long. And for a unit that badly need multiple copies its pretty insane.

Mion Cancer is sadly just Casters without their gimped Multiplier If they are planning to rerun her, that S2 is a good pick for a Buff since if they shorten its cooldown and maybe added higher number or powermod, it could elevate her Single Core potency

NP damage buffs are almost always 20% or 30%, and she already has 20%. It wouldn't change much at all if they added an extra 10%. Would be cool if they added a 10k heal like Enkidu to Skill 2 tho cause it fits lore.

If only they'd give Arc the one buff she truly needs: Let her damn music persist between waves, you cowards! Jokes aside, my enthusiasm for Arc as comes from her being in a very good tier of DPS: Someone whose kit isn't just "Push the number a little higher", but instead "Do something very differently" with her huge multicore compatibility and unusual semi-support suite. (Not on the level of Tonelico IMO, but still up there.) To me, that's the most valuable category of Servant after meta supports, since in most cases taking the new generic [card type] looper above the power of your already-invested generic [card type] looper really doesn't strike me as a good cost/benefit outside waifu reasons.

Let's be real here. No one who has followed jp will be pulling for Arc because of gameplay. She looks very impressive on paper, but definitely not in practice. Most will only want her for hype and waste the large amount of free quartz they get this anniversary before forgetting about her, and those that seriously care about tsukihime will 120 her anyway (including myself here♡). I love her. She is my white moon princess, but unless you feel the same way, just pull on the summer banner. Any one of them will probably add more power and versatility to your account.

@BygoneT I don't put my faith in spreadsheets and hypothetical damage output. I think the implication that you should invest in a servant to maximum degree simply for the purpose of all time use is silly. Always prioritize your favorite servants. I'd say every intermittent to endgame player has a large enough roster, that you won't need an all in one nuke. For newer masters, friend support is a thing, you know. But yes, there is a reason people put their resources in mass in Arc or Morgan and not someone like Jekyll and Hyde.

This hurts a bit because Arceuid is my favorite character. You were fair though, there was a lot of good and some negative including her banner being right before summer 7. I have NP2 level 120 , Vitch of light and a limit broken black grail and within that engine she is amazing. She was clearly built for that and it shows. She is however a servant like you need multiple copies and the other parts. She is a greedy girl and this kind of fits her personality. Though if you are willing to go all in on her, she becomes a great servant. You will get your money out of those grails and NP levels. My only bone to pick here is that I don't think Mooncancer is as terrible a class as you keep saying. It gives nothing, that is true but the only enemy that resists moon cancer resists almost everything else too. I take Arc to farm Rulers and it usually works out, they usually have lower hit points. Summer Ibuki might be a better farmer but Arcueid is still Arcueid and that counts for something too.

"Busted" here is subjective. Arts not!Merlin is just a sidegrade, and while Ibuki is your top-of-the-line FGA tool she's exchangeable and Skadi is really just a patch-up to a deader than dead card type.

There is nothing wrong with Moon Cancer if you don’t look at largely neutral classes from the “It could have been Avenger or Ruler instead” lenses. A properly invested one can still deal with multi cores 90++ and CQs.

Only going for xuu fuu. Sibuki is my main target so hopefully she can spook along the way. Some of those other banners seem tempting and have xuu fuu but i don't want to waste quarts. SIbuki at np 2 to higher is my goal. If i get higher than 3 I'll go 120. Arc was overhyped to start. Sure 100 battery us amazing but let's be honest she's a trophy unit since this is a question. Similar to what aoko got. Aoko could have been so good but her kit is a mess when you break it down

10-12 minutes is the optimum length for this type of video since the topic is about servants that are 2 years old. So, most players already know about the said servant's capabilities. Of course, some servants may require few minutes extra but Arc is a simple, mostly 1 dimensional servant. Same goes for every other looper. Basically, only supports deserves longer explanation and some weird servants like Draco or Bazzet and few others. Also, imo splitting up the servants is a good idea for 2 reasons. 1st, the video length will be shorter and 2nd, sometimes, the rerun banners have different servants in them. So, if you split them up, you can refer to the old video instead of making a new one when a new rerun pops up. Of course, it doesn't apply if you plan to make a breakdown every time a said servant gets rerun. I think, a 3rd benefit can be, splitting up the video means, more video uploads which should be better for the algorithm.

She actually can single core buster loop w/ double koyan & plugsuit oberon with the addition of summer chloe & maxed append 2 skill. Pretty significant damage buff considering summer chloe has an NP strength up which gets amped by oberon.

Gonna be honest. Talk in the community about her isn't good because of how she needs NP2 or even 3 to consistently loop, also having Sskadi, Sibuki and Lady Avalon next to her isn't good for a F2P like me. Also I don't have a huge attachment to her as I do with other heroines like Rin, Artoria or Nero, mainly because my knowledge of her is limited to Carnival Phantasm, her semi-cameo appearance in Extra as a Berserker and the anime that doesn't exist. But man the flower field bathed in moonlight and castle on her NP is sooo damn beautiful!! It brings me nostalgic memories from a certain Weeping Lily Meadow from another game from my childhood. I may roll for her just for that.

Just like my favorite FGO youtuber on brazil said "you only summon arcueid when you don't have mélusine or you don't want any summer 7 servant" tbh, the second part is hard because we have an ST avenger that have an niche that makes her do a lot of damage (summer erice), an BERSERKER AOE THAT LOOPS AND DOES GENERALLY AN GOOD DAMAGE REGARDLESS OF NP LEVEL AND CAN LOOP ON BERSERKERS AND FOR SOME ODD REASON LOOP ON AN SINGLE ENEMY (summer ibuki) and summer skadi (no thing for her because she just improves quick a lot). And also one thing he said is that in one of his videos where he gone and gived some buff ideas to some servants, he putted NP gain increase on quick cards in normal skadi, ever since i heard about that buff idea, i do no longer think that summer skadi improved that much in the quick farming (but she did really improved but not much compared to an NP gain increase on quick cards to make quick being an relevant farming card)

I hit pity on Arc on JP, got 1 new sr (valk) and 0 other ssrs on the way and grailed her to 100 and 2k fou'd her and i honestly never use her even before i got my np2 tonelico. I wish they'd buff her so her damage isn't as potato like an np damage up on her s1 or an np buff but honestly you're just better off rolling for summer ibuki or skadi like a month after.

Might pull for 1 copy and then wait however many years (or a GSSR pull) to get an upgrade. If S.Ibuki wasn't coming out literally the month after I would probably go all-in for NP5, but as a F2P (+GSSR) I can only save for 2-3 BIG targets a year (and while Arc is a favorite, Ibuki is a bigger favorite). Then again I am sitting on 1.7k SQ (1.3k SQ+150 T) so maybe I'm being a little too caution, hmmm...

I have lvl 120/gold fou'd/np5/3 max append skills/ Arcueid and she's a good go-to farmer for me. i even got her to Bond 15 as well (and stopped using her cuz she's fully maxed out) Her biggest flaw is her np1(she hits like a wet noodle), it doesnt do particularly much unless you reach np4-5 for her powerspike. She can do 3 turns without Oberon thnx to her max charged NP, Cooldown MC & double Koyan. In the end, she's a good lad for a very quick 3T farming and i wish there was another way for her to mix well with oberon and double koyanskaya system... They really gave a massive wall in-between there. Edit: if i were to give a rating, She's A(NP1/lvl 90) to S-(NP5/lvl120) by my standards.

You do you but I'm still gonna drop some info based on experience : Last year, I rolled for Cu aster to get enough coins for his mana loading after I got at least 1 of each of Morgan, Baobansith and Barghest. I already had np2 of him ; I got him to np5 but never got the last copy I needed to get enough coins and wasted quite a bit of quartzs in the process. I got extra copies of Baobansith and Barghest as well as a second copy of Morgan but then I nearly didn't have enough for Summer Kama later on, had to pity her and nearly didn't have enough currency to do so. 3 stars can be annoying to get and Xu Fu is permanent, I doubt you need her immediately and who knows you might get her a week after her banner ends or you might get her np5 after her banner ends off of daily FP multis. It is also highly likely she'll drop during your next long rolling session. This is my advice especially if you're F2P : wait, you'll get her np35 eventually ; but ultimately the decision is yours so do as you want.

Tbh I only pulled for her in jp because of hype and of who she is, but she’s been collecting dust in my account ever since. I rarely find any use for her. At np1 she’s just not worth your time if you got a good account already

Man if your NA it’s a waste of time to go “well in about 2 years X unit will get more powercrept”especially on a DPS servant because at that point your just gonna wait forever at this point. Even Summber Ibuki isn’t a “Must” in JP when they dropped servants like Summer Melusiane. The only really safe ones are the blatnetly OP support servants. Castoria, Oberon, Koyanskaya Light, and Summer Skadi for example are still as good in their niche in JP as of today.

This is related to the pro/con's but how viable is multicore for 90++? Without looking at numbers, I am guessing Arc/Tez/Oberon comp even with an additional support plugged in would struggle to clear 90++, is Arc multicore mainly good for 6CE 90+ comps? Still appreciate you doing a banner breakdown. For sentimental reasons I have to pull for Arc but it looks like even going for NP5 wouldn't make her particularly great for single core so maybe I'll settle for one copy and use her as wave 1/multicore support.

Multicore is very viable in 90++ when you need both st and aoe dps like the current 90++ lilim Harlot for example but multicore has other usage besides 90++ it's just another way to clear quest without always forcing yourself to use Double Castoria,Koyan,Skadi Also Arc can indeed be used for 90++ but you probably needs a high np one she was probably actually the most used servant in the lotto Illya castle

multicore is often the only way to 6 CE 90++. But you can't generalize a comp, you have to change it for the specific node.

Multi core is very much the best way to clear 90++ for several reasons. Bond saving, if your dps isn't strong enough, running full bonus in events and stuff. It's usually more effective provided you have the units that help. Tez, Oberon and Arc are used in them yes, along with other units. You don't even need a unit with a lot of buffs most time, it could be charge, team damage buff or both that makes a run work for you

7th anni then summer kind of screws me since i need summer ibuki. everything i've read suggests you need to pull hard for acrueid, at least np3 to make her viable; and i just dont have the quartz for that and summer ibuki. and of course kuku comes out in what, January? she seems to solidly fill the same role acrueid would fill and is 6 months separated from summer ibuki.
