Honestly, thank god for making welfares and lower rarity so strong, you aren't locked into spending money for SSRs to be able to do stuff. So many gacha games are basically "fuck you if you wanna progress give us money:" while FGO is "you can progress.... but the real reason you are here are hard to get, so give me money for waifus" which I think is a very fair trade.

@@nightshrine4257Two of the weakest servants in the game from year 1 and 2, it’ll take more then 1 buff each to make them viable, but they are definitely significantly better now then they were.

​@nightshrine4257 The buffs were... alright. The problem was that their kits are so outdated that they will need multiple buffs to actually be strong. Alter lily could be pretty fun in a stall team because of her healing buff. Maybe we can hope for more buffs in the future... yeah, not likely 😂.

A thing that kinda saddens me is that Rama now is getting overpowered not only by his gacha competitors (Tsuna,that in part share the same niche as him but have a much better kit, and Roland) but now even from welfares like Iori,that is basically a SSR,but also Saber Liz since she have more Np damage than him. While he can have a big crit turn,the others can compensate with multiple turns of crits,better survival ability and overall a better kit. Sadge. But anyway good video as always Plushie,I hope we can see you again in Myst tier list or maybe with Otto!

@@farizahmad3036 as a fellow Rama grailer I understand your pain. Sure is absolutely hysterical how his crits can go nuclear, especially with Supports like Koyan and Merlin but he is really outcompeted in multiple ways. Even as he's Grailed he is only np 1 and when he doesn't hit his niches he gets surpassed by most of my ST Roster.

I would rather use Rama for demonic enemies, since he has an upgraded np with higher damage mods and use any other saber for other content. Tsuna is only really strong against Oni and even then, i don't consider him a top saber for such content

@@alexstar9871 yeah, even if we dont consider his NP and skillset, despite having 10,2% stargen, he barely generate star on his own thanks to his low hit number on his card. 5 years ago when i just start playing this game, he is the one who carried me till EoR which is why i decide to grail him, but now after having a lot of option for DPS that mostly are better than him, somehow it kinda make me feel sad tbh

as a sigurd fans, its kinda hard for me to accept it but thats the truth. I really like his battle animation, character design, and tbh at first i dont think his skillset is really that bad, but after looking at the recent ST buster sabers, i feel like they did him dirty, especially when you know that theseus is just a non-story locked 3* and iori is a 4* welfare

30% Charge, Continuous Stars from his Skills and NP, 2 Types of Damage Buffs for an NP, Crit and Star Absorb, an NP that ramps up at 20% and not 10%, 2 Survivability and he comes at NP5. Calling him fully loaded is an understatement at what he's packing, really the only flaw he has is that his Self Buffs lower than the usual ones and even then, that hardly matters in the grand scheme of things. Also Hokusai doesn't listed as Ramp, why is that ?

I mean, the minimum standard buff value that is put for good st units is at 50 and iori has about 40% buster up and 20% attack up( buster buff being ramp up). I mean, look at Seika the previous welfare. Her np buff values are at 50% quick up with no ramp up and she has low attack too, while Iori is just shy of 10 k. Meaning he has higher np steroids than her at base with ramp up. Why am I comparing her with him? Because even with what I said about her, she is a good st welfare and Iori is just that overtuned

Besides Bedivere, who is story locked, in some cases, people do use someone like a np3~5 Lancelot for Arts muticore farming for 90+ nodes, although there hadn't been many maps where he's been used recently I think Iori takes that spot just fine and could be better but again Lancelot does have that Np buff now Then again looking after that damage spreadsheet nevermind lmao

Way I see it for Lancelot is when it comes to NP, he's arts so he benefits from the Castoria engine and looping. His face card damage on its own isn't as high as Iori, but his NP makes up for it.

Powercrept most ST sabers. Only when looping a 1/1/x node or needing 50% charge to kill a wave there are better options. Hokusai and Sigurd(np2 or drag) win in dmg but they lack the 30% charge for better comp variation. Throughout Raids and Ordeal Call, he alone is the the honored one.

The thing that makes iori particularly strong is that aside from a pretty solid skill set, he also comes with a support that has great synergy with him.

Not 500%, but flat 500 damage cut. So instead of taking 3000 damage, Iori only takes 2500 damage.

I think hes good but i still think hes worse than hokusaber. but his 30% is usefull. Ive frequently found lancelot useful for this very reason and hes gonna fill that role now.

His kit is way better than Hokusaber, but Hokusaber is arts and therefore makes easy use of Castoria.

the problem about hokusaber is that despite having a stackable crit up that can ramp up to 180% (if you able to crit 3 time every turn for 3 turn), her stargen isnt that good, meanwhile iori have a pretty good stargen thanks to his NP and 1st skill. Not to mention in term of skillset, he has way more utility than her.

He is way better, higher damage base + the 50% extra buster from oberon. Only place she competes is at CQs where they are close enough for it to be meaningless. Raids/Ordeal 1T dmg numbers comes into play way more often than who clears the CQ a bit faster.

@@GS_CCC there damage is relatively comparable and when you consider the way castoria works she’s very easy to work with. Hokusai has 40% from append and skill. Combine this with castoria and she can get 2* 30%s from her making her able to np from residual gauge within the multi attacker comp. Plus there damage isn’t drastically apart. Iori doesn’t get this in the same way sure he can get 20% from Oberon but buster doesn’t get aoe np charge the way arts does outside of a few comps
