OTPTryharder I saw this when it first came out I said fuck I need to pull gilgamesh. used free quarts and free tickets from the event nothing. Finally! july 18th I get on get my free ticket and got 2 more quartz to finish my 30 did my ticket nothing did my quartz, I said just give me a rank 4 and I am happy I dont need Gilgamesh. Second card is Archer I see the gold and say son of a bitch is this real Gilgamesh yesssssssssssssssss. Gilgamesh. did what I had to do to test him out. Finally I then came here and said Gilgamesh lets recap what he does. So I know how you feel lol. P.S. In the summoning process his quote is your luck has ran out if you summoned me I said fuck as well lol.

Don't have Archer Gil, but I've found Ishtar as a good substitute(just have to watch out for Jack and Camila usually) though his 4 star caster form feels just as good to use in an arts team as Archer Gil does in a buster. That said Summer Mordid and Caster Gil are brutal DPS pair for berzerker clearing on an arts team.

His charisma is pretty damn weak now. Yeah it has 21% attack buff. But ishtar has 20% attack and 20% crit buff. And welfare santa nightingale has 20% attack and 30% crit buff. Both of those skills would be WAY more useful on Gil.

Archer Inferno especially Scathath (don’t think I spelled it right) since she can apply three buffs to herself and is a Lancer, seriously, 300k-500k is no joke

All the people who think Gil sucks probably haven't used him in a team built for him. I put him with Lalter and Shiki and it's just carnage. DEFENSE DOESN'T MATTER IF THEY'RE ALREADY DEAD! I will say though he's not quite as impressive without crit stars, but he's pretty good at making his own crit stars with Be Elegant, as well as with Shiki being there of course.

Gils 10 bond ce is also kind of broken. It's an extra 30% NP buff plus a proc (30%) to increase his crit damage. If you do not reroll for him they are giving out 3 summon tickets, 10 quartz along with skill up materials as well.

I just randomly came back to this analysis video and I personally think Golden Rule and Collectors EX really go hand in hand together if used correctly. Because he creates a moderate amount of stars on his own, he has the chance to collect those stars along with using Golden Rule, and when he Crits, he charges his NP very very quickly. It helped me a lot especially with Ibarakis battle where he went from like a 50-80% in charge just from one attack of Crits and np charging together. It’s honestly really helpful, and once his skills are maxed too, it helps him NP spam his NP. X)

Gil works with most servants actually, but in particular I'd suggest using him with with Hans/Merlin most, as well as Nightingale, Caesar, Leonidas, Shakespeare

I agree, while these vids on 5 stars may be great not everyone will be lucky to roll one. So the videos on the top 3 and 4 stars would be more helpful since we're most likely to have those. the CE's that work with Gilgamesh are: Kaleidoscope (works with almost every servant, starts NP at 80%), Heaven's Feel (Gives off NP DMG +40%), The Black Grail (Gives off NP Dmg +60% loses 500HP each turn). If you don't have any of those craft essences listed above, you can use Angel's Poem for NP Dmg, or Imaginary Number Magecraft for startup NP 60% also: once you raise his Bond to lvl 10, you can get his bond craft essence, which does work well with him.

Note: Should specify that it's the best Basic charisma. There's other charismas out there. Like Ishtar's and Merlin's which boosts crit and np guage on top of the 20% atk. Note2: Gil's NP hits like a wet noodle until his interlewd. Even against servants.

I did mention the charisma power creep. Gil's NP prior to the interlude is an OK AoE NP if only because the servants you are using it against are low level. And his NP interlude is in London which is relatively soon assuming they release all the interludes along with the chapters and by that time the enemies are still so weak that a Lv 90 Gil is still sweeping everything with his NP

Honestly i got really lucky. I bought enough quartz to fill 1 10-roll and a silver archer card turned gold, and i found that the gacha blessed me. I think Gil's summoning line was right when it said i used all my luck summoning him. However, something to be noticed about Gil's NP is that the extra damage modifier against Servants only affects the servants that do not posesses the Star trait (except Jeanne d'Arc, Bedivere, Leonardo da Vinci and both versions of Scathach). But without them, the number of servants unaffected is less than 10, so it's not a great concern. And most of them will not even be in the USA version for a long time.

I’m pretty sure Honako Green did a triple Gil vs tiamat setup with kid gil, archer gil, and caster gil. Their charisma skills are good together, and caster gil’s crit star generation buff is AMAZING on archer gil, but damage wise they’re not that great. None of them has a buster buff or crit damage buff, and that’s literally all they need to be insanely strong. Ngl i wish Gil would get another strengthening. Yeah he’s still strong, but he’s not NEARLY as strong as he is in the lore.

Right now for the US version it's at a stalemate before the game updates to the next story chapter. During this time what daily quest should I focus on?

Focus on maxing your servants as much as possible, so doing the exp dailies + ascension pieces quest as the top priority only doing the QP quests as you need them (i.e. after running out of money from ascending so much). After that just do QP quest, money is good. Also make sure you do the free quests for Quartz since you need them to roll for the next big gacha obviously.

I drop Gil with my last free ticket in the last day of the event (yes, I screamed very hard) and was wondering, because I've Atalanta and Carmilla, do you think those 3 work good in a team? Carmilla doesn't produce that many crit stars (I'd level her up anyway just because she is strong regardless), so if you are going for a crit team with Gil then definitely invest in Atalanta and try to get Hassan from the FP gacha if you don't already have him, or if you are the luckiest person on Earth you can use Waver too.

Well, here we are nearly some 12 months later and Gil is still my overall most used offensive Servant (though I plan on getting some good mileage out of Rider Kintoki). His post-interlude NP is just too good. Since he seems to come back quite often, I might make him the only SSR I will try to NP5 in the long term. Would be cool to have one, and seems fitting for him.

PhxMaster Phx Whichever you prefer really, they are both top tier 5*s, I would say that Waver overall does become better than Gil as the game goes on but you aren't at a loss either way. But keep in mind Gil is limited and Waver will be in the gacha forever so it is harder to roll Gil than Waver

FIRST! Before I watch the vid(Which I know I will enjoy), I am still quite new to this game and haven't completely set myself up. Currently, I have 2 good accounts: 1 with Altria and Tamamo Cat (with 55 quartz currently), and the other with Jeanne, Heracles, Elizabeth(Lancer) and Marie Antoinette. Question is, after I try my luck with summoning on the first acc, should I try and reroll for Gilgamesh, start on my fresh Jeanne and Heracles acc, or simply continue on my (lvl 25 master)altria acc? Big Gilgamesh fan here btw. Thanks so much for this video btw! :)

That's tough, if you don't get Gil I would say stick with the lvl 25 master Altria account. Keep the Jeanne / Herc account as a sort of alternate account to roll for new servants, but Gilgamesh will be back with another rate up eventually so I would suggest if you don't get him now just save a stash of quartz or tickets for the next time.

G&A Reviews Change of plans... I ROLLED GILGAMESH ON MY ALTRIA ACC! FREAKING HECK YEAH! But I still can't pick which servant from the free 4*s, The good servants I currently have are Gilgamesh, Artoria and Tamamo Cat(I think she's good?) I know that Heracles and Emiya are the best picks, but considering I have Gil now(I CAN'T STOP SCREAMING!), I am not sure what to go anymore :p Should I get Heracles, Emiya or something else?

Damn, alltough I hate him as a character his stats are way to good to be ignored, especially since I am planning to do a crit team where I already have cursed arm and Atalanta and Gil would be the missing piece. But why does Gil work well with Herc?Yes he does create a lot of crit stars but what of it when Herc has a crappy star absorption, ultimately ending up gil absoring all the crit stars (and another servant) leaving herc with nothing. Other than that, great video and cant wait to see more. Also, Atalanta spotlight would be nice. x)

You're right, I think I confused Herc and Lancelot for a second there lol. But if you want to go full buster max damage build, Herc and Gil go together well.

I got Herc (np2) and Gil (np1) on NA, so they are my go-to servants for doing pretty much everything, I've found out that the best support for those two is Waver since he can fill Herc with imaginary element in the first turn, then because of Gil two Arts cards and Waver's three i usually end up with 3 Arts on the first or second turn so after demolishing the first wave i usually have Herc's and Gil's NP avaible, waver actually cover Herc squishiness and on top of that Waver's third skill buffs ATK which gets stacked on top of Charisma, so i usually end up oneshotting the third wave on every 40ap missions (except if the third wave is composed of mostly saber hand enemies) tl;dr Gil-Herc-Waver is one of the best party compositions I can arm on NA

I'm pretty new to the game so forgive my newbish question. I noticed that at the end of battle, all your party servants including the ones in reserve were getting xp. When I play only my active ones get the xp. How do you make them all get xp like yours did?

Demiurge13 They should all get exp automatically as long as you send them out in a party together. Your party can hold 6 servants (5 + 1 support from a friend) and they all get exp. The servants that are in storage and not in the party dont get experience. Your party cost may limit you from taking more than 3 servants if you are still low level EDIT: I should clearify that by Exp I mean bond points not actual exp for increasing their level

Yea I meant bond too, I have Gilgamesh, Heracles, and mash (because mash doesn't cost any party points), but mash doesn't get any bond, that's why I asked my original question. Speaking of parties, I was wondering what the best party with Gil is. I want to eventually pair him with arturia if I can get her, is that viable? Right now I have Gil mostly with heracles, sometimes I substitute in Atalanta or emiya. Curious about your thoughts

Demiurge13 Mash works a bit different, her bond points go up according to the story, so after certain story events her bond will increase. Gil and Arturia make a strong combo, definietly viable. He also matches well with Atalanta because of all the crit stars she generates. If you use him with herc make sure you have a strong support to balance it out otherwise you might struggle later on

Gil is a lot better from a gameplay perspective, but if you love both of them I'd actually suggest going for Arthur, because he has a lot fewer rateups. Gil has a lot of rateups, he gets at least 2 this year and I think 2 more next year so you have a lot more chances

I pair him with Emiya (I only get Gil from Support tho), and the storm of swords they create just make crit stars for DAYS

Farmed via logins and plowing through the story and free quests. That said they weren't enough and I had to buy some to actually get Gil lol
