Hello sir! Your videos helped and still helping me a lot, thank you! Could you talk about communication with coaches, players,... Also could you show us how to write an incidental report?

Never encountered an incidental report but communication with coaches and players can definitely put into the list of videos to complete over my winter break!

We play basket in our village, we are not in line with many rules/fouls etc. We wanted to know the fouls which can be done during layups, both by offence and defence side. Please make a video on that. Also wanted to know that while shooting can defence player check the ball from behind the shooter. Love from India, you doing great job😊

cool. most people who play the sports do not bother about the rules its good to see people who are actually interested with the rules of the game.

i dont get it. if the shooter passes from 3 point line and is touched by another player or the floor it becomes 3 point irregardless if the 2nd player (teammate) or the location where the ball touches the floor is at the 3 point range or within?

Does this mean that an alle-oop from the 3-point line counts for 3 points?
@mcmerry28464 жыл бұрын
Who is the last to touch the ball?? And from what spot did he jamp???
@mcmerry28464 жыл бұрын
If you for example hit an >opponent< in the head from behind the 3pts line, and the ball goes in, it would be a 3
@ferrepeeters12454 жыл бұрын
@@mcmerry2846 okay, but like, it your teammate touches it from inside the 3point line it would be a 2-pointer?

The key is alley-oop is a directed pass to a teammate who does a controlled tip towards the basket. It was a direct basket. When we look at indirect, if I throw the ball from the 3pt line and it deflects off of someone (accidental, not controlled or directed) then it is a 3pointer. Same as if I shot a 3pt and a defender in the 2pt area tips it on it's way in, it is still a 3. Does that make sense?

@@refereeuniversity ah yeah i get it now, thanks for the explanation.

CHECK ART 39 IT HAS A CHANGE
@leonidasskoutas67434 жыл бұрын
39.3.2 If persons of both teams are disqualified under this article and there are no other foul penalties remaining for administration, the game shall be resumed as follows. If at approximately the same time when the game was stopped because of the fighting: • A valid field goal or a last free throw is scored, the ball shall be awarded to the non-scoring team for a throw-in from any place behind that team’s endline. • A team had control of the ball or was entitled to the ball, the ball shall be awarded to that team for a throw-in from the place nearest to where the ball was located when the fight has begun.

Thanks! That is a Rule Book change with additional information (I believe). If you have more interpretations change, let me know!
@leonidasskoutas67434 жыл бұрын
ok this is another change 18/19-10 Example: B1 fouls A1 on his unsuccessful attempt for a 2-point field goal. After A1’s first of 2 free throws, A2 is charged with a technical foul. Either team now requests a time-out or substitution. Interpretation: Any team B player may attempt 1 free throw with no line-up. If a team B substitute has become a player to attempt the free throw, team A is also entitled to substitute 1 player, if they wish. If the free throw is taken by a team B substitute, who has become a player or if team A also substituted 1 player, they cannot be substituted until the next game clock running period has ended. After the team B player’s free throw for A2’s technical foul, A1 shall attempt his second free throw and the game shall be resumed as after any last free throw. The time-out or further substitution shall be granted for both teams at the next timeout or substitution opportunity.

This is an addition but not a change! A technical is a new foul penalty which allows a subbing or timeout opportunity after the first free throw. It is in the OBR and the scenario is now added to the case book. I am looking for changes of rules that were not listed by FIBA :)
