You were not being verbose or over-explanatory at all! That's one thing I love about your videos! You make sure it's easy for us to know exactly what to do at each step along the way. This is so important when we're learning a new technique or design! Thank you so much for caring enough about your peeps to go the extra mile in making sure all steps are was clear as can be!! @econhelpneeded. Why can't you have tons of WIPs going on at one time? Lol... I do!! Seriously, I understand where you're coming from! I have some WIPs to finish, also, BUT I'm trying out this mitered square right away. I've wanted to make one forever and this square shouldn't take very long (if I can stop at just one)!! 🙂I'll finish the other WIPs later. Like Scarlett said, "Tomorrow is another day".... Lol! 😃👍🙂

Nice video! I was wondering what size you can achieve with one ball of Ice Cream Big Scoop so I can plan for the size I want. I'm very bad at planning quantities and always end up with 2 or 3 times the amount necessary (which is not always a bad thing in itself, right?). Thanks for your patience and love of sharing your talent. :)

@KS-un4yb5 жыл бұрын
Did you use the same hook for the sweet rolls version?
@FiberSpider5 жыл бұрын
For the Ice Cream yarn I used a size I, for the Sweet Roll I used a K. I would suggest using a size or two larger than is usually recommended on the yarn label.

Can you use a stitch marker for the middle stitch of the decrease to help
@dissodatore5 жыл бұрын
that might help, but when I've had to do decreases in the past that are regular like this, I've had a pad of paper next to me and listed and done a check next to each number as I finish that row, like he mentions and that can help, especially when doing multiple squares.

About how many yards would be needed for a throw? I would hate to start it and then not have enough yarn.

My rule of thumb is to either buy a ton and return what you don't use, or buy a brand that has no dye lot and is easily accessible.
