All great tips! Also vitamin B is important for sleep and neevous system too! Sunflower seeds are the best for this before bed!

Have you tried Nortriptyline? It doesn't make you feel as drowsy as Amatriptyline does but still helps with sleep. Maybe suggest it to your GP?

Thank you for making this video and for doing the research & collecting together all of our ideas m'love, especially since you're feeling so rough at the moment! A lot of ideas I haven't heard of, especially magnesium & the Melissa Dream tablets. One thing I forgot to tell you is I also keep a pillow between my legs to support my painful hip joint & to take the weight of the duvet off my ankles/feet. In terms of chemicals in my system I try to keep away from caffeine after 1pm. I completely agree with the dark/quiet bedroom. I have to use earplugs (Poundland do ones identical to Superdrug but are a fraction of the price - they're in the DIY section!) & an eyemask (freebie from an airline many years ago) xx

I take 10mg of amitrityline every night, without which I cannot sleep at all, but then I'm drowsy the next day. Some days the drowsiness is so bad but it's dibilitating!!

I do the ABC thing when I really can’t sleep as well!

It usually works for me but frustrating when I can't think of something with a letter! 😁
