I'm stone cold sober and my standing leg's ankle isn't quite stable which causes my pointed toe to shake. This test is ridiculous. I'm sorry, but if it's hard to do sober for some people it shouldn't be used as a means to detect whether a person is intoxicated.

Before you begin you ask if there is any medical issues to it. Police are also trained to factor in physical appearance. So if someone is say really obese they'll factor it. Remember though these tests are only done to get PC for a warrant to breathalyzer or blood test depending on state

You should work on your stability, this kind of weakness can cause serious injuries in the future

Do not take only can hurt you. Field sobriety tests (FSTs) are voluntary in all US jurisdictions. Drivers can refuse to take an FST without penalty if they are pulled over and the police have probable cause to suspect they are driving under the influence (DUI). However, police officers may try to convince drivers to take the test, and they may not inform drivers of their right to refuse

Very few people could do what she did. Most people have poor balance due to vestibular problems. If you fail a balance test, but the breathalyzer and blood tests show zero alcohol consumption, can they still arrest you for DUI/DWI..
