I always appreciate the effort you obviously put into these videos. Nothing *average* about that... Thanks! Hopefully I'll be picking up an aframe soon...

Thanks for sharing. Thinking about getting something more like the nobo 10.5 or something in that line. The Aliner is nice but I dont want to deal with setup.😃👍☕

Outdoors4adventure I didn’t know about those trailers- I’ll check them out. We now have a restored Class B but the mechanical repairs have been huge so it’s not perfect either.

Hi Alice, you guys still camping? Did you ever buy another type of RV? Love to see another video from you, I've been re-watching your old ones. Thanks.

It’s nice of you to check in! I’m working like crazy on a new rig... hope to post something this month. But we still have the Aliner!

Wind is always scary but it is really scary in a tent. I top everyone in bad wind experience. I was camping in a tent and wind with gusts of 60 mph came up. I heard a friend yell and I stepped out of my tent. Relieved of my weight, the tent was ripped out of its tie downs and sailed over the cliff, joining my friend’s tent in a death spiral out over the ocean. Neither were ever seen again. All our clothes, and car keys, were in the tents. 😟

That's truly terrifying... and without the car keys, did you hike out? We're considering getting one of those satellite locator beacon devices but they're expensive. I'm seriously planning to build a sleeping platform inside our SUV for emergency wind sleeping. The car barely budged in that wind.

Hi. I'm looking to buy an aliner like yours and I'm afraid of mold, condensation, possible bent on the walls and things like that. Please could you share an honest opinion regarding this camper? Major issues found so far.

Did you have your tow vehicle hooked up to your Aliner? That would help out in high wind.

NO - we learned about that later! It does help.

Beautiful country. Thanks for bringing us along. Noticed you had your solar panels out at that canyon park. How are they doing on keeping your battery charged up?
@averagealice88777 жыл бұрын
So we have changed our power set-up from my first videos...long story, but maybe I'll make a video on that after we get more familiar with all the technical details. Anyway the Renogy solar suitcase has been good! My only complaint is that it's heavy (for me) and takes time to set up and take down. And we have to be settled at a campsite for about 5-6 hours to fully re-charge the batteries (now we have two)and we need full sun, but that was also the case when we had one battery. Part of this equation is how much you tend to drain your batteries.
