I have hunted with dogs all my life. Just got my first French Brittany 4 yrs ago. In short these dogs can an will do it all. Great Pointers and fierce retrievers, as well as very good water dogs. This last hunting season had one day out where a friend walked 6 miles in the Montana mtns and the dogs ran 26 miles. They can go all day if its not to hot and you carry plenty of water. Our dogs take very little to almost no handling which makes it such a pleasant day. Thanks for the video.

This is one of the best most relatable upland hunting videos I’ve seen in a long time. Thanks for posting!

Thank you so much for uploading this! I've been requesting a brittany video for a bit now, it seems there aren't many on youtube and this is a great way to promote the breed, so thank you :)

Going out in nature and bringing back dinner for your family and friends is the greatest feeling ever, and hanging a dog along adds to the feelings. One day I’ll be able to have acres of land and work my dogs

My boy Boone is a black and white roan Epagneul Breton. I went in with pick of the litter wanting a tricolor but he picked me, no regrets! He is a really sensitive and loving dog, easy to train and wants to please. When he is into the pheasant it is a sight to behold! They are a great breed, I want another

Brittenies are great , personalities for days, I trained one a year ago he was a true rock star! The dog in this video is a great example of a working Britteny.

People say ever dog breed is like a potato chip you can’t have just one, I have heard that for basically all breeds like Boxers, American Bulldogs, Dobermans, etc. I think the saying should be “once you find your prefect dog breed it like eating a potato chip, you can’t have just one” that way it includes all breeds because the truth is it applies to all breeds not just one in specific.

Nice video and thank you for sharing. Predominant black or even liver is a distinct disadvantage in warmer climes. I suggest you revert back to predominantly white dogs in CA, especially if you also hunt Mexico and AZ!

Great video but a bad title - there's no discussion of field training at any point.

Sorry that there was not any training instruction in this. All of the footage was shot during my training sessions. Should you have any questions concerning the training I do, I would be happy to share the little I know. Thanks for watching.
