I love the relationship to the wood itself; that’s what is special to watch. There’s a mutual respect: the wood agrees to become a house, the carpenters agree to make it beautiful.

I have watched several episodes of various stages of construction. I find that your methods are the most interesting, professional, and accurate of any other methods. When you complete the framing there is no doubt in my mind that this structure is solid and can withstand most calamities. The materials look to be top grade lumber, no warpage, no high moisture, no big knots or fissures, just straight, tight, clear lumber. I like it. you build a quality home that any homeowner would be proud to own.

I am curious at what the MOISS panels are made of. They look almost like a drywall/gypsum board. In USA we typically use and OSB plywood sheet, but then again we do have a lot of forest and land that makes plywood affordable here.

I like that level with the enclosed plumb Bob. I’ve made something similar before, using a length of PVC pipe, to keep the wind from interfering with the line. But I’ve never seen a manufactured level like that, in the US. Looks like it is adjustable in length too.

Just watched the video again & need to comment on the quality of all the jointing work that you use in your building of a house. In Australia our building 'tradesmen' just but timbers up against each other & rely on using metal plates to join them. I MUCH prefer your quality work. Thanks again Shoyan, for showing us how a building should be crafted. Cheers, Don from South Australia.
